nabba universe 2005 4th place
i managed a brilliant 4th place at the nabba uni after competing in figure classes for years then going over to the physique class. i know im still in the small side but im working on getting a bit more size on and am taking a year off competing to let my body get the rest from dieting and let it concentrate on growing.

here we are again. ive only just recently crossed over to physique from figure and havent got the size of these girls, but i am not hung up on the worry of loosing muscle during a diet and am not afraid to diet down. i am taking a year off to gain a bit of size if possible.

my cycle doesnt consist of much really.
2 shots of organon deca and one shot of viramone per wk for total of 8 weeks. i only take 3 courses per year as im quite freeked out by needles. im chased around the bedroom to get my jab. ha ha
during diet phase i stop the viramone and go onto to winstrol .
i also use t3/t4 whatever i can get at the time. t3 were so hard to get last year.
i cant use clen as it gives me terrible cramps in quads and hams.
i take 15mg of anavar per day and for last 4 weeks before the show i go onto proviron .
i find it very hard to loose weight and on diet i end up on 10grams of carbs per day. i have a couple of higher carb days to kick up metablism to approx 100-150grms but it manly 10grams per day. i also have a mini stepper i use for a bit of cardio. i hate the bike as it bores me. i use stepper and do some walking outside. i do alot of walking at work and i havee to climb stairs alot too which makes me so very tired. the men at my work encourage me and keep my mind in the business in hand. ha ha i work in a prison.
i will be 42 when i step on stage next year but competing keeps me young.

"Wow" is all I have to say. Do your children have any bodybuilding inspirations for the future at this time?
Also with the carbs, 10 grams sounds extremely low- do you follow a high protein, extremely low carb type diet when dieting?Last edited by ward065; 02-28-2006 at 10:16 PM.

always high protein when on a diet. i dont start freeking about loosing tissue as quite a few athletes tend to do. if i loose a little then i can handle that.
i need to go quite low right from the start of diet as my metabolism is slow. i dont loose it easily. ive heard of folk who can shed loads of weight in just a matter of 8 wks for a show. i need 20 wks.
my kids are all grown up now. my twins are 18 and my oldest daughter is nearly 21. they are all skinny rakes. ha ha they wont go into bodybuilding cos they dont like the diet and the hard work.
my partner competes too and i think seeing the two of us on a diet together and eating tons of brocolli and brussel sprouts put them off too. ha ha (smell)
i work in a mens prison, the prisoners give me lots of encouragement too. i think a few of them are secretly scared of me cos im a bit bigger than them and i think most have never met a female bodybuilder before. they must see me as an alien from space. ha ha
heres my other half. gary keith.

again.. WOW..
Do y'all train together?
-
03-03-2006, 08:47 AM #34
sometimes i train with hubby but most of the time i train with my training partner and he trains with his.
it good when we are doing the same shows. when competing it can be a really long day for the other one to be sitting in the audience just watching but if we both competing we are kept busy doing something, even if its just getting a nap in the corner of the room somewhere.
hes quiet all the time but when hes on a diet hes even quieter, whereas i just want to bake bisciuts and cakes all the time on a diet. i think its because i can do something to stop me getting bored and then theres the making, seeing, touching and smelling the results. i tend to give most if the goodies away to the lads at the gym but i also feeze some and give it out to friends at the shows. ha ha its mad but it gets me through my diet but gary isnt chuffed about it. ha ha but he puts up with it anyway.

why im giving my opinion on how i think she looks..are u only allowed to say people look good??
-
03-06-2006, 07:02 PM #39
its ok i wasnt offended by the comment.
to answer that comment. my kids friends know me and gary well but i have to say that they are a bit intimidated the first time they come over. they have seen us in the local paper or have been told what we do as a sport and so with most teenagers are eager to meet a bodybuilder as there arent many of us around. certainly not in west of scotland.
after the first meeting they realise we wont eat them for dinner ha ha
but we might eat them for breakfast!
