I think your new friend is the diet thread. Lets see your diet. Lay out a typical day, I will tell you if you are eating enough.

Funny how "the grass is always greener" your difficulty in gaining weight is probably the bane of your life but I would LOVE to have that problem and have an excuse to go on a crazy bulking diet.

I think you could put more weight on naturally if you ate correctly. I have been training a 31 year old ectomorph that hasn't weighed above 140lbs his whole life. 5 months later he now weight almost 170 and is still very lean. It's all about the way you eat man. He had also never touched weights, so I know that made a huge differece.

You are no where near ready for any kind of AAS.

If you can't gain weight naturally, you ain't gonna gain shit enhanced.

Why do people think AAS are like some miracle weight gaining compound???

I dunno bout that, I'm just a beginner, and don't wanna argue with the mods butI have an Asian friend whose body looked just like Bruce Lee's, he was eatin 4000 cals a day of high quality food, and could not gain a pound, he is an elite athlete and in his competition days competed for Team Canada in his sport at the world championships pan-ams etc. After his competition days were done he took up bodybuilding, he always did do resistant training with weights but specific to his sport, but then he started bodybuilding, went to a nutritionist, got on 4000 cals a day, ate right trained right for a couple of years, never put an ounce on...still 155lbs, the only thing he changed is that he went on AAS and in 6 months went to 185lbs, after his cycle I think he only went down to 170, now he weighs between 185 and 190 and strong as hell.

that's quite odd, if you are eating that much you will gain weight, it's just a matter of if it's muscle or fat- why are so many americans overweight (with fat)- it's because they are eating too much. You will gain weight if you surpass your calorie requirements. If you do not workout, it will be fat. If you are training hard you will put on mostly muscle... the diff. is with aas, more weight you put on will be muscle over fat, because you will be able to train harder

not sure why, thats just what happened, his dad is a big eater as well and still looks the same in his 60's as he did 20 years ago....which I could eat whatever i wanted and not put fat on!!

well i can relate to that.....in order for me to gain any weight i really have to eat, eat, stuff myself and eat again. like 4500 calories a day i have to eat. If i average 3800 calories or so, that is about my maintence requirement. And even when eating like 4500 calories a day and making myself feel sick of food, i still stay fairly lean.

Then you can talk to someone i know who plays computer games the whole day- he does not eat much at all, 3 normal sized meals (Not eating over 2,200 calories) , yet he is 6' and weighs 240lbs, quite overweight. Obviously he does not workout though...but still...

as for the guy in this thread, yes my suggestion is to eat seriously, you will probably have to feel "uncomfortable" from eating so much, but it will be worth it. And you will get used to it too over time.

Indeed that's weird and doesn't make sense, as one's metabolism would only be higher if anything on gear thus making him lose weight actually if calories were FOR SURE exactly the same.

When gear is able to supply calories, someone call me.

well I hear ya and i respect your knowledge SC, I was not with him to make sure everything was the same, but he is a good friend of mine and he personally told me that the only thing he did different was take the AAS, so I dont know, maybe he wasn't completely honest with me, but I know that he always was a big eater, and whenever I was with him when he was on the gear it didn't seem like he was eatin any differently than he did before, he always ate alot of food. I definately agree with you that AAS isn't gonna work magic, that diet and training has to be on.

4K calories isn't much at all for bulking, I'd say shoot for 5-6K/day if you plan on putting on mass. Until then, enjoy being skinny.
