    14 weeks out - Bodyfat % ?????

    hello all,

    i am 14 weeks out from my first competition. i am 34, 5'7" and 183 lbs. i am competing as a novice light weight. I have been training hard for two years.

    please tell me what you all think my Body Fat % is.

    just a guess as i am not an expert, 11-12%? you look good though, very solid just a little bit more to go before your comp

    Hard to say from pictures, but if I had to guess, I would say 12-13%. Plenty of time left. Keep it up and get that physique dialed in!!

    what is your gameplan for cutting? How much cardio and what will your diet ratio consist of?

    thanks to all who took the time to respond. E- Dawg, I just changed my diet a little. Im consuming 410 grams of protein and 250 grams of carbs per day. my cardio consists of 40 minutes 5 days per week. The cardio will eventually turn into two sessions per day. Right now i try to do the cardio after waking up in the morning. My diet will switch mostly to fish and vegis around 12 weeks out. I will update pics every 30 days if any of you are interested.

    Yea bro keep us posted on your results, Your def. low teens with your bf%. you look like your right on schedule with your dieting keep it nice and slow and you'll do well. Your hams are already starting to pop out.

    I would say a TRUE bodyfat measurement would be around 12-14%

    You still have plenty of time from where you are, just stay focused and tight on everything. I am 13 wks out of my first show this saturday I am right there with you bro! Good luck!

    i cant speculate at your bodyfat % but i can say if all you have is 2 years serious training under your belt then good god man you look fantastic for such a short period of time!

    Fvck man I have just looked at all the pics, you have made an awsome change . Good luck and make sure you give as some pics just before the comp. Wheels look fantastic !!! And BF I would say 10% maybe less

    Doing a great Job, LEGS are definately your strong point, they are mean man, great definition on the wheels..Traps are looking large too!!!!

    Thank you for all the encouraging replies. Things starting clicking as i picked up my cardio and adjusted my diet. I agree with the improvement need in my back and calves. Remember, i have only been training HARD for a little over two years. Traps and quads came out of know where... I work the SHIT out of my calves... Trust me, they have come up since i started... Calves were a genitic misfortune... Back will come along with time and training... I have focused on BALANCE and Deffinition for the contest. I hear that most novices come un under conditioned and out of balance...

    I will update you when i am 4 weeks out... Thanks again for all the kind words...

    you guys are pretty accurate... i got my bf % taken right after i posted those pics and i was 11 %.... i will be 4 weeks out on June 10 and i will have it taken again and post new pics...

    3 weeks out

    okay all,

    I am at 6.5% bf, 173lbs.... these pics were taken last week... im still flat right now, but will tighten up and fill out when i drop water and carb up the week of the show.. wish me luck

    the light weight class is changed to 165 instead of 159... let me know what you all think...

    remember, this is my first show ... NOVICE

    Two weeks out

    i seem to be stuck around 173 - 174.... i dont have a scale at home and find myself weighing in the middle of the day after my first few meals and water...

    cant weigh any more than 165 1/4 for weigh in... im 13 days out ! my diet and cardio are solid, so can i expect to drop a few more pounds before i dry out ? how much water weight will i drop after dieuretics and water depletion ?

    any advice is apprecited... BTW, sorry for the mild porn photo, but the wife caught me right out of the shower....

    bro, i'm not the one to ask for contest prep advice, but at 2 weeks out and with 9 more lbs to go...good luck on trying to hit your mark. If you do, you'll be one shredded mofo. Keep us posted and stay focused. You're looking ripped and solid already.
