    43 and trying real hard, any input ?

    Ok guys almost 9 weeks into cycle enan 250 twice a week gained only 6 pounds, 1st cycle ( ya think its underdosed or what !! ) what do ya think needs to be done, besides shaving my body !! The gut just wont go away, or the boobs, remember in 43 y/0, gonna run into mid may sorry but dont have any before pictures.. LET THE FLAMING BEGIN.. Thanks

    What does your nutritional protocol look like?

    At 9 weeks into this, I'd expect more than a 6 lb. gain even naturally while
    bulking (I take it that's what you are doing), so I'd do an overhaul to the dietary portion of your endeavor. Make sure you are working your legs, you didn't mention them or post pics, so I've no idea if you work them or not.

    What made you decide to utilize AAS?

    Diet is pretty good, but sometimes with work im not eating enough calories, Yeah im lookin to bulk up, but dont have much time left on this cycle, i posted two days ago in the Q & A FORUM, that my gear might be beat, ive been through 5 vials, i was thinking of running into mid may, then i guess start researchin for my second cycle, very rarley do my legs, every ten days, the other problem is sleep i just dont get enough, and remember i am 43..

    Age shouldn't matter much....You have more test in you than a highschool baseball team at hooters. EAT ALOT! Train, Eat, Rest , and grow.

    You really should do legs. I train people in their 40's and 50's and they do legs just as with any other bodypart.

    Diet being "pretty good" is not good enough, it has to be spot on perfect.

    That's about all I can offer here, I don't see gear use being warranted so I'll just refrain from saying things that I don't really wanna say.

    gottca, i understand, thanks for every thing Happy Easter, and i guess i'll hit the diet forum and keep training, and see what happens.

    Sorry to hear that, but like swole said without diet steroids won't do a thing. I also know that some people respond less to it, everyone is different and there is no guarantee that you will get big on steroids.

    Yeah i know, i did get some gains but not what i wanted, and my diet is pretty good, believe it or not i was 200 pounds three years ago, then i stopped drinking and got my sh!t together, i cant sit here and discribe every meal but it contains a ton of chicken, steak greens, potatos, fish, more egg whites and protien shakes than i could count , two months before my cycle my cholestrol was 296 got it down to about 180 i just cut out all the bad fat i could, at that time i was 184, went down to about 175, started my cycle and now im about 181, before that i live in fast food resturants, my diet was sh!t, i was a walkin heart attack..

    I will say this.... For 43 yrs old, you look pretty good, but your gains/improvements from the way you are describing things seem to be subpar, at best. Now, normally when someone comes on here complaining about progress and they tell us their diet is "pretty good" it usually means that it completely sucks donkey balls. SO, why don't you make a visit to the diet forum, and post your EXACT daily nutritional intake. Maybe write down everything you eat for a thursday, friday and sat ( I choose these days bc that factors in week days and weekend day where most people;s diets may vary on the day of the week) and then post it up. Read the bulking sticky there too and makes some adjustments on your own. Members will then critque your diet,in which case you will more than likely start making better gains (if you take their advice)....whether you are running any gear or not.

    Oh, and not training legs and then coming on here and complaining about not making gains is like complaining about not being able to lose weight when all you eat is Mcdonalds. Gains, especially in terms of gains in bodyweight, will come much faster when intense leg training is incorporated into the routine (hell 50% of your muscle mass resides in the legs!!!). I know you said you train them every 10 days, but that is not frequent enough, and just given the fact that you lack the motivation to train them often enough, I would be very confident in making a wager that you also lack the motivation to train them intensely enough. I am not trying to come off as harsh, just trying to give you a swift kick in the assss toward the right direction Good luck!

    First i listen to what everbody says in this forum thats why im here, tryin to figure out if there is a problem and you can bet ill be doing my legs first thing in the morning, and thats a great idea about postin my diet,, I am always on the run so thats why i say my diet is pretty good, its tough the first four hours of my day to sit and eat im always grabbing protien bars or egg whites and turkey on whole wheat, i deliver juice in Manhatten, so im up at 4 am, and gotta get in and out of the city as fast as possible, im not tryin to make excuses, i just need to make adjustments, like bring food to work.. All the input you give me i will respect, you can say anything you want because i know you guys are here to help, Thank God for this forum and you guys.

    It's good to hear you are willing to listen. It will jsut take more discipline. Like you said, you need to start bringing food to work...that will help TONS I am sure...after your diet is critiqued that is Also, start cowboyin' up and train them legs...HARD!!! You will grow then. And eat!! If you are having trouble getting the cals down, I would throw some olive oil or flax into my shakes a coupel times a day, dense in calories, and good fats. Keep the protein high as well as those complex carbs and good PWO nutrition. I know that is not real specific, but this will be a GREAT start. After your diet is posted, things will get more critical.

    Oh yea, BTW, stay away from thsoe protein bars...they are complete shit IMO. THe only way I would use those is if I was a 15-16 year old skinny ecto doing anythign I could to put on weight.

    Make no mistake about it, I did have some reservations about your approaches, but you are still above/beyond the majority your age.

    Nice calves man, it seems many people that have been overweighted for a longer time and then loose that fat have good calves. Is that because of the tention on the calves when you walk around with that weight?

    Good work Stu, keep it up... I've been following your threads and you seem to have the right attitude to take it to the next level. Get that diet up in the diet forum and lets start tearing it apart

    Train legs, but be sure you're not overtraining with your lack of quality calories and insufficient rest as you stated above.

    First i owe whatever gains i did get from you guys, if i didnt research and ask questions, who knows what would have happened, all my life i never listened to a word anybody said, so back then my best thinking put me in 19 detoxes, 3 rehabs and in jail twice, so i guess my way wasent working, so i will put my ego to the side any listen i dont care if your 18 or 98, and when i hear the complements from you guys it makes me feel great and want to try harder... When i started researchin i didnt want do do all these things that i was told to do, i wanted to stick my self in the as$ twice a week, and gain 20 pounds..Boy has this become a lifestyle. You guys rule...Thanks to all..

    Is this ur 1st cycle? 250 low @ OUR age: only makes up for our depleted production. 9 weeks not enuf, but how much FAT did you loose along with those gains? Don't dis US: I started 3 yrs ago @45yrs old & at 112# and gained 40# 1st year, today at 178#: 1st year NO SUPS> GOOD diet; INTENSE - CONSISTENT workouts; ENOUGH rest; all are needed or you are simply wasting $ on roids. You're basics seem OK; Cardio?
