Two years of training and 3 cycles later........

Two years ago I decided to quit doing all the bullsh*t, unheathly, nonsense stuff I was doing and decided to straighten up and get myself together. Part of that decision included me starting to work out and eat better. I have made good progress and just wanted to see what you guys think....

    2 years ago:
    6' 2"
    165lbs
    about 10% BF

    Currently:
    6' 2"
    219lbs
    9.5% BF

I recently made the choice to get a trainer and a nutritionist and start heading towards my goal of competing. I have been on a steady clean diet for 4 months now and love the changes my body has made.

Let me know what you guys think!!!!

Decent gains. But I think you're off on the bf%. Also, only 2 years training and 3 cycles. But I'm not gonna preach.

    Either way, good gains.

Good gains, I agree with BigLouie on the BF. If you are flexing your abs in the second picture, at 9.5% you should have very clear abs showing. What is your timeline for competitions?

Also, what does your nutritionist offer that the diet forum on here doesn't? Not criticising, just curious, does he plan our your meals, have additional knowledge, etc?

Looking good, definatly a nice improvement. Similar to the general opinion, the results you achieved could have been done naturally IMO. Im 21 too and 2 years of hard training and diet can yield some amazing things. Regardless of how you got there tho, still looking solid.

Some tips to improve...get that back a little wider by hittin the lats hard, and thicken up your arms a bit. Keep up the good work. Rome wasn't built in a day.

I had a BTM done two weeks ago and it said 9.5%BF so I am strictly going off that....you never know machines are not always right...I was kind of wondering the same thing myself.....no I am not flexing my abs but even when I do I dont see them all to well.

I am 21 and have alot of growing, training, and dieting to do before I compete.....but I hope to do the Sherman (NPC) in Houston in 2008. We will see though...

Nothing really just the fact that I see her once a month she takes my BF%, checks my diet, takes my measurements, and changes my workout and diet accordingly. She has competed for many years and I really liked the results I saw in my roommate after being with her for 2 years so I decided to give it a try and I love the changes I have seen takes place in my body.

I know, I know.....I hear it all the time...I was not well informed in the beginning and kinda just did what people told me. This last cycle I started after I had done my own research and figured out things on my own.

Looking good - completely changed your body in two years. I didn't get that improvement in my first two years (no cycles though), but whatever - that's a lot of work at the gym.

nice improvement bro. About the diet I have not seen any EFA. You can easily bump up an additional 500cals if u consume some fats.

I think you look great IMO. But truthfully with that many substances and a diet that is considered to be pretty decent I would have expected you to look a little bit bigger and even leaner. Chest looks fantastic and shoulders are nice but work on the abs and keep up the cardio. Would you mind posting some more pics up from different angles, its kinda tough to be able to determine trully how big you are just from a front shot alone. From all i can imagine is that you have some massive legs but who knows. Keep up the good work and hit that cardio along with that clean diet.

Not COULD have done.... COULD EASILY have done without the cycles. Ah well, live and learn.
