How much is that squat? Looks like 5 plates on each side, unless those aren't 45's it is pretty impressive.

    Nice pics Steve..

Ecto, don't think those are 45's.

If ya look, the bar is bendin on the squat so I aint pretendin!

Ok so I am a little. Those are 35 pound bumper plates. I can do that amount of plates with 45's for the lifts but it was to hard to pose so I used the lighter plates. They look like 45's. For the squat I had to step back like 10 steps and turn so the guy could take the pic, noway I could do that with 500 on my back I would tip. When I max with 500 its down and up as quick at possible lol.

The bench is 45 pound plates. It is 275, its an old pic. I can max 315 now.

To the guy talkin Im small, post some pics. Even if I am "small" lets see you max something wither the same range compared to YOUR body weight.
    I weigh 195:
    Squat max 500
    Bench-315
    Dead-405

I know, dude must be strong as an Ox to have that kinda weight going and still have time to look straight at the camera. I squat, i don't have time to do anything but look straight ahead and get the weight up.

Just curious, are you maxing on bench or are you just holding it off the rack? Can't really tell because the guy spotting you is playing with his basketball.

I would have to assume he is holding it off the rack since he is once again looking at the camera.

On the squat, did you turn and look at the camera also. Your feet are not parallel at all to where you unracked the weight. Are you lifting the weight off the rack on the deadlifts. How are you looking at the camera w/ your head up off the bench. I do 275 for reps and I can't do that. Hell I couldn't do that with 225. Just curious.

well what I mean by "look" like I can lift that much is just by looking at him I wouldn't think "i bet that guy can bench 315"...I'm saying that when and if I can finally bench 315, I want to look like I can bench 315 and to me thats not what i would think if i just saw him walkin down the street...u know what im saying?

Size does not go hand in hand with strength, I am a weak bastard but I am alot bigger than most of the stronger guys at my gym. I train for volume and symmetri, I could not give a shit about lifting heavy. I don't want to work lifting crates all day anyway so all that strength is of no use. You also get more injuries training the absolute heaviest you can. My body is definetely not built to push real heavy weight, I just accept it and train with what my body likes.

I had already brought it down and I was almost st the very top of the lift. I told the guy to take it while it was down but he didnt do it quick enough. I was back at almost full extension in the pic.

    1. For the squat the way the rack is set up against a wall I had to walk back like 5-10 steps and turn so the guy could take the pic and get me and the weights in.

    2. Deadlift- The rack is actually a few feet behind me. I lifted it from the ground. Kinda blends in in the picture.

    3. See above about the bench lol. Yes I was lookin up, its not hard.

  33. #33
Cool stuff. I honestly don't believe you can squat and deadlift that much..your legs/truck dont look big enough to support that much weight. Dont believe the bench either.. Just my opinion.

I agree, I been reading this thread and looking at the pics over and over again and it just doesn't make sense to me.

too odd, though if some how it is true/real then men my hats off to you bro.

What makes me think it's real is cuz the bars bending, I dont know though.

As chest said, with your stats and body structure (not putting you down or anything) that just looks like too much weight for you to lift and on top of everything your smiling just doesnt make sense to me.

At my old gym all the squat bars were bent.

The owner only allowed us to squat with those bars because she didnt want us to damage the other bars (it's pretty hard to bent with a bent barbell )

So anything's possible with those pics.

Could be real.. could be fake.

    But does it matter?

    No.

    Props on posting Steve.

No I know exactly what your saying...For me, my body grows with my strength, which is pretty cool because as I have got stronger, I have got alot bigger too...I'm glad my body works that way, I would hate to be able to bench 315 and look like a twig...
