Goodluck Undecided.. get someone to help you with posing locally if possible.. I notice most novices really fuk up in that department. Otherwise, keep at it and let us know how you progress.

IMO if you only have 8 weeks you better get REALLY serious now, how do you think you can afford to f*ck up a day or 2. You still have a decent amount of fat to lose and you dont want to be behind in your prep and try and play catch up at the last minute. Get VERY strict now. Its better to be contest ready a little early than be late!

Lol, how did I know my last comment was going to induce that response, hahah...I didn't say I wasn't serious, but dude honestly what is the point of being so stressed and so serious that A. you don't enjoy it and B. you get burnt out by 4 weeks out when you really need to dial it up!!!...Look I'm not saying I'm slacking off, what Im saying is that you gotta stay sane for christ sakes so that when 4 weeks comes around you can really turn up the heat, instead of being burnt out by that point, thats my logic...I mean its not like I'm not being strict, i mean not 4 weeeks out strict, but not 12 weeks out "looseness" either, besides, look at my progression pics, clearly I'm doing something right....Thanks for the input though, I agree that I can't lose focus!!!

Who said anything about being stresses out? I am going balls to the walls strict and I am loving it.
And being burnt out? That comes down to mental toughness, either you have it or you dont. I started dieting almost 8 weeks ago and still have 10 more to go and I am going stronger than ever! Its about mental stregnth!

What do you mean at the 4 week mark you will turn up the heat? I paln on being almost stage ready by the 4 week mark...it is MUCH easier that way!

Ok, well I appreciate the input, good for u that u can enjoy depriving urself of taste, haha....I commend that, us normal folk don't like it...I'm improving steadily everyweek and thats the bottom line, So I know i'm on track and doing well...you have ur way and i have mine, good luck in the next 10 weeks I think ull need it, I know I would!! Thanks for the comments....

SVT, weirdest thing about this show is its divided by height, weight is completely the competitors decision as to "at what weight you feel you look your best"...

At your bodyfat and timeframe to get to under 4% BF I'd say you have no time at all to not be following everything to the tee. You'll be suprised how fast 8wks goes by and you're still not where you want to be.. I'm in that boat right now, next year will be MUCH different.

Btw no offense Undecided but I deff agree with 89GT as there is not room for you to fuk up 8wks out. You will get your ass handed to you on stage by someone who started dieting 14-16wks out etc.. don't take any chances, never know who will show up. Eat to win.

I totally agree. You definately need to step it up Undecided09. I can't think of anything worse than sacrificing 3 or 4 months to diet half-assed, only to have to step on stage looking sloppy and unprepared. 8 weeks is such a short period of time, it's not even funny.

Best of luck on your comp man.

I agree with the others. 8 weeks is only 2 months and I'd say you're going to have to do assloads of cardio the last 4 weeks at the pace you are at now to even get under 5-6%

Word. You and the treadmill need to get REALLY friendly for the next 8 weeks if you hope to get under 6%bf. I understand this is your first comp and you're just doing it to see if you can, and I applaud you for doing so. It's not an easy task by any means. But if you're investing the time and sacrificing potential growth just to compete, you may as well go balls to the walls and win the friggin thing. We all need size, no matter how big we already are. But, even with lack of size, stepping on stage dialed in and conditioned to the FULLEST, will almost guarantee a place in the top 5. And only your attitude and will power can stop you from that.

8 wks is not a short time if dieting correctly for a contest. It is a fuking eternity, that's why very few ppl ever step on stage but rather talk about it. Don't play it down so much until you've gone through it, best of luck undecided.. stay strong and stay motivated, the temptations will sneak up on you bro. You'll see what I'm talking about soon enough

Get em up.. lets see the what the hard work has done for you. Hopefully you're within striking range being you're 4wks out.. I'd say you should be within 5-6% at this point.

Legs are looking GREAT Also your mid section and back seem to be your strong points. IMO for next competition try to add some mass to your chest and arms.

All in all your looking good. Good luck on your first competition!!!! HAVE FUN.

Cant wait to see the 4 weeks out pics
