Ok, well I'm just under 3 wks out right now, this camera and the lighting here really sux, the cam is only a 2.1 megapixel, in better light I'm much more defined, I'll try to get some in the sunlight or something, but here are a few so far. My weight right now is hanging around 210 in the am, 214 or so by the end of the day.

yeah, I'm holding swome water still in the lower back, but not too much too worry about yet, just w/ the water drop that will be gone I think, I still have about 12-15 lbs to drop by weigh in's, I'm trying to get into the light heavyweights. I figure I'll be somewhere in the neighborhood of 205 by weigh in day, I may have to hit up the sauna for a couple hours. I'm just hoping that all of this doesnt throw off my carb up too bad, but even if it does I think I still need to try and get into those light heavies. Carb up or not, I'm hoping I'll be so diced it wont matter much, then by the night show if I'm lucky enough to be in the posedown I would have eaten all day and I'll look huge and pumped by then, so it'll all work out. The quads are looking good too, I didnt have time to take alot of pics, but I'll be sure to keep posting more between now and then. Thanks

Last season I weighed in at 205, went on stage around 209. A few of my buddies are really pushing me to get into the light heavy's, but I need to get to 198 lbs. I'm already down 35 lbs from the diet so far, and my body is getting pretty stubborn now. Some days I can wake up and step on the scale and I'm 210 lbs, but I have to have almost no carbs and feel completely wiped out(like cant hardly function). If I throw in one or two more carb meals that day, the weight shoots right back up to 214 in the morning, 218 or 219 by evening. I dont think I'm going to look as good as a light heavy now. If I really want to I can get to 198 by weigh in, but its going to take starving the shit out of myself, the sauna, and no carb up before the show, which will all make me look shitty. I wanna look my best, despite weight class. I think I'm going to just keep things on track like I've been doing, not going to do anything drastic. However, I am going to shitload for this show, I did it last year and it worked excellent. So now, I'm predicting my weight is going to fall somewhere in the neighborhood of 210 lbs after the water drop and carb up. Not bad for 5'9" I suppose

Stnstacked.. looking good bro, but I wouldn't say you have a chance of hitting light heavies this year without totally depleting right up until the show which may backfire. Strange that you said you weighed in a year ago at 205 on stage but yet you seem like you stayed the same weight this long after.. maybe a flaw in your offseason dietary plan/training to be sitting at almost the same LBM, yet putting on 30lbs of fat? Just an observation.

Goodluck with the show you look great.

Yeah, I see your point here about my bodyweight and what it is this year as compared to last season. I was thinking the same thing myself, but sometimes bodybuilding can be funny like that. I look much larger this year than last year, and much more dense. Sometimes you can come back a year later at the same bodyweight but look much bigger. Also, I could be 225 and cut right now if I wanted to be, but my legs wouldn't look as good. I'm one of these rare cases in that I have to let up on my leg training big time to get the muscles to show. I hold a ton of my weight in my legs in the form of fluid, this is where I went wrong last season. I trained my legs heavy as hell up until about 4 wks out, this time it's been all high reps and not so much weight. It definitely worked because my legs looked better 10 wks out this year than they did on stage last year!!! My shoulders have come up alot from last year, I was doing military db presses w/ 125's for 8 this year, last year I couldn't even do 110's for more than a few reps. However, did I let myself go too much this past year? Yes, definitely. No reason I couldn't have stayed around 225-235 lbs and just as strong as opposed to walking around at 250 and having to go through much more to prepare for the contest. I'm going to try to stay leaner year round from this point on, stick w/ the cardio at least a few days/wk, you just feel so much better. Thanks so much for your input, all of you, it means alot.

Hey bro, those pics arent shit compared to what I look like right now!! The legs are in much better, I'm more vascular, abs are better, everything is alot tighter. So here is the gameplan for the next week bro. I felt as though I was coming in a little early, the past couple weeks I've pretty much tried to maintain as much muscle as possible, the carbs are cycled between 150 grams-250 grams, I may go 150 one day, 200 the next, 250 the 3rd day. The fats are also fluctuated anywhere between 30grams-120 grams, just depends on how I feel and how many carbs I eat that day. Much more likely to go 100 grams of fat if I only ate 150 grams of carbs that day. One of the biggest reasons I'm taking my carbs up as high as 250 grams a week b4 the show is because I'm taking 88mg of winstrol caps/day, they're 22mg each and I take 4, along w/ anavars and proviron. I felt as if the winstrol was dehydrating me to a point where I was looking flat, but when I up the carbs I look much better. Sunday and Monday will be my only super low carb days(100 grams) and thats just to shock my body and make the carb up/sugar up more effective thats all. Tuesday I will consume 250 grams of carbs, it will also be my last workout and PWO I will eat 14 rice cakes w/ sugar free jelly, Wed my carbs will go up to 500 grams, 250 of that coming from foods such as grits and white potato's(they make me look fuller than sweet potato's) the other half coming from Vitargo drinks. I cannot emphasis how much this Vitargo has done for me, this shit is the best supplement I've ever run and has made my muscles look good and full, not nutrient depleted. Thurs my carb intake will be 6-700 grams, depending on how I look I may take it to 800, most of it coming from Vitargo, about 300 from food. Friday is my fail safe day, to prevent spillover, the carbs go back down to 250 grams. I will continue to eat clean through Friday night, pop an ambien and fall asleep early, around 8:30-9pm or so. Wake up Sat morning at 5:30 and I'll have about 5 or 6 krispie kreme doughnuts, then its off to the pancake house around 6:30 for half a bottle of maple syrup and some pancakes and bacon, then between 6:30-8:30 I will eat 3 or 4 candy bars, packet of skittles right b4 I pump up. I have no concern over bloating, I will drop my fluids around 18 hrs out, maybe 20 this year since I'm not running any diuretics. Thats right, no diuretics at all, my goal this show is to come in looking full, healthy, and pumped. None of this starved looking bullshit. I have the cuts now, now all thats left is the carbs and water drop, it's going to be killer boys. Pics to come

You got it all planned out bro, good luck! The candy bars and skittles sounds like you're on the patented D3m3nt3d diet

    Great update SS.
You don't fully deplete then eh? You feel keeping carbs throughout is the way to go?

What would you change if you were to take aldactone or lasix?

    When do you drop water?

How much and how often did you do cardio? AM/PWO/PM?

Thanks bro, sorry for all the questions I just like to get feedback from others to get ideas for nexttime.

#1. No, I hate carb depleting, your muscles are made up of 75% water carbo HYDRATE helps them to stay looking thick and full. Bottom line is even if my carb intake is 300 grams I can still shred up because my calorie expenditure is still less than what I'm burning in the gym, throughout cardio, and as well as my BMR. I will start to go below 250 grams of carbs when the show gets close, say 2-3 wks out, but I always cycle them and every 2-3 days bump them up to keep from catabolizing tissue.

#2. I've taken aldactones b4, I'll never do lasix, too much margim for error. aldactones are slow, you can start them on a Monday then gradually take more or less throughout the week depending on how you look, w/ lasix it's like ":Oh shit, I ****ed up!!" Only thing I would change w/ the diuretics is more carbs and more fluids, however I doubt I'll ever touch them again.

#3. I am consuming 1 gallon of water up until 4:30pm on Friday, then I will cut it completely, maybe take 1 or 2 small sips b4 taking stage though to avoid cramping and keep my mouth from getting too dry. I'm not one of these guys who is sucking on ice cubes all day Friday, no gradual water drop, just cut it at the last possible time.

#4. I work 24 on,48 off at my job, I did cardio on my days off, so 4-5 days/week for 40 min-1hr. I never do am cardio, it eats muscle IMO, especially when you get your bf down under 8 or 9%. All my cardio has been done PWO on an incline treadmill at 3.5mph
