Guys with the net - u gotta remember things get taken the wrong way so often.

Rather than assuming someone is going to be negative, or if you're not a 1005 clear on waht they are trying to say - ask first - get mad only if it's warranted.

This was taken towards the end of the night after I ate a big plate of jerk chicken and garlic mashed potatoes. (It was damn good!) I was waiting to go out for the trophies and didn't care how I looked.

Posts from another thread. I'll quote so I don't to retype.

I was packing up my stuff to leave then the director of the show came back stage looking for me and told Victor and I there was a screw up in scoring and I did place.

The top 5 in open were the same as masters accept for 1 person. The 5th open placing didn't make sense considering 2 of the guys who placed higher were also in masters and I beat them in masters yet didn't in open. The guys who got 3rd and 4th place had a look of confusion on their faces when the placings were called. I just smiled, accepted the trophy and said thank you.

Hmm I certainly didnt expect that placing...but what can you do but give them hell the next time. Keep your head up you will get them eventually. 176lbs do you think you over did the diet and lost too much muscle? I would like to see you how you would do at a heavier weight. Your body fat appeared relatively low prior to dieting. How much weight did you drop over the course of dieting 30-35 lbs? I think even in the NPC you can get away with a slightly higher body fat or less than perfect conditioning if you have superior mass. What are your thoughts on that after your placing? It seems mass rules on all levels these days....

Yes I over dieted. Last show I lost 35 pounds and didn't need to. This time I lost 30 and didn't need to. It's my metabolism and hyperthyroid. Plus I just started working with Victor and he had to *learn* my body. He said to me at the show "Don't worry about the placing. This was a test. Next year after I get an off season with you is the real deal."
