    This is my cutting log. Thanks for taking a peek. I will be updating this pretty regularly, and I'm very anal about taking frequent pics, so hopefully people who enjoy seeing a nice completely photographed "transformation" will be happy with this. To start, this is me about 4 years ago, while in college at 21. I was not lifting much, and this pic is about 6 months after leaving the gym. My main focus was cardio and I rode that damn lifecycle into the ground every day. I also made liberal use of the old genuine Xenadrine. God I miss good ole Xenadrine.

    My diet was not great. I woke up at noon, did my cardio, ate a half box of Rice-a-roni rice pilaf and a chicken breast, then went to work a reasturaunt where I drank coke all day and snacked on bread. The first pic shows me 6 months after stopping this routine and begining to eat poorly.

    Fast forward 4 years. In medical school, playing video games, I got no excersize and ate junk food 24/7. Just crap food all day, at will, for 4 years.
    My girlfirend, whom i meet when I looked like the first pic, back in 2002, lived away from me the past two years while i was in med school and so I didnt have to feel fat very often. Now, 2006, we break up and I realize that my tastes in girls are appropriate for someone who was pretty lean but not who looks like i do now. I couldnt attract girls which I would find attractive. I tend to hold weight in my face too, and so my wieght plays and abnormaly important role in how I look.

    So, my motivations are clear. You can see my goal, becuase iv'e been there before. You can see how nasty I am right now. The only question is; will I follow through. Place your bets!

    So, first pic is 2002. The others are a front and back each, one pair from this afternoon, one pair from 2 months ago. However I didnt begin doing much of anything until two weeks ago so you can assume that the change you see (if you can see it) is about two weeks worth. I see a noticable change in the back pictures. The curavture of my lovehandles is softened and more smooth now. On the fronts i find it harder to tell, i certianly dont have any muscle definition, but my left love handle looks smoother and the fat over my abs seems less bulky as the shadows seems softer. The lighting is identical in the pics.

    After that big wall of text, which gave way more info than anyone cared about, I'll add some more relevant facts. My weight in the first pic was about 205 to 208 if I remeber correctly. In the July pair I was 225 to as high as 228. In the current pics i am around 218. I have come in as low as 215 this week, but i was not eating enough and likely had nothing in my stomach, intestines, or any significant water weight. I think about 5 pounds of loss so far might be accurate.

    As far as my plan, I do 1 hour on a cardio bike each day on an empty stomach with an 25/200/325 ECA stack i make. I have been doing some short lifitng sessions in the afternoon to work past that initial super sore phase when you start lifitng again.

    My diet is chicken breasts, protien shakes, tuna and crackers, rice pilaf, oatmeal with sugar free jelly and brocolli. I eat in the classic way here on the forums. pro/carb first meal, protien snack, pro/carb third meal, protien snack.
    I have not dialed in my diet yet. I generally keep an excel spreadsheet of everything i eat. Ill begin with that soon and keep the info here.

    I hope as I demonstate im keeping with this people will read and enjoy seeing my progress! Wish me luck!

    Alright, its been 4 days now, and im down to 213. And that is as i sit here at the end of my cheat day having eaten Mc Donalds for breakfast and a steak and buttery backed potato for dinner. I thought the water I would suck up by replenishing my glycogen would pop me up to 216 or something.

    Im doing crappy on the diet. I dont cheat (except on my cheat day) but im not eatting enough. As it is i think i have enough fat that I can do that and still liberate fatty acids fast enough that im not wrecking muscle, but I know im going to pay a price soon unless I get more consistant.

    Still, the pounds are coming off fast and I'm seeing little details I havnt seen in years, like a pronouced grove between my pecs and delts running into my clavicle. Fun stuff!

    Here's to the tired and true ECA stack.

    Stinking diet i ate diet, fine work bro.

    I am at 213 again myself, i gotta start too damn back pain LOL.

    Haha, yes. In fact, I once knew someone whos wife did laser hair removal. She offered to do me for free, but it would take 4 or so treatments. So i go in, she does it, and warns that she may miss a spot or two becuase with a shaved back (which is neccesary) she cant always see which areas she has covered. So she does it and sure enough, i had an area that grew back normally while the rest was thinner and slower to grow. No problem right? We just be sure to hit that area for the next treatment and after 4-5 times it will be just as hair free as the rest. Well the friend decides to cheat on her and divorce her AND take back the laser machine he bought for her. So I got left with asymetrical back hair

    If you look at the area on the upper part of my shoulder blades you can see they are asymetrical.

    Down to 211 this morning, and looking leaner. Its odd, seeing myself like this. Im at once both impressed and disgusted. On the one hand begining to see the outlines of abs, my upper external obliques and serratus anterior is very exciting and yet when i physicaly grab the fat on my body there is so damn much of it. I am stunned im down to 211 and still have so much fat left considering that in the first pic above I know I was around 205. I was 225 a month or two ago and seeing myself at 211, i dont look like i lost 14 pounds. I certianly dont feel like if i lost 6-7 more i would look anything like the first pic above. Have i lost so much muscle from before that now I would be under 200 to get the same leaness in my midsection? I dont feel like I was very muscular at all in the first pic. Maybe im closer than i think. Maybe 10 pounds of loss doesnt look very significant when you have alot to lose, but the next 10 will really begin to expose whens underneath. Here's hoping.

    Damn, ive turned this into some drawn out stream of consciousness blog.

    I have pics from yesterday, but im going to hold off on posting new pics until a few more days go by so you wont have to squint to imagine a difference.

    Good Job On Getting Med School Done And Good Advice From Perfectbeast On Getting Your Back Waxed. It Will Hurt As Much As Med School Just Compressed Into A Block Of Time Lasting About 15 Min.

    Ok, little update. My weight is hovering between 210 and 215 depending on whether I lifted weights recently. For some reason if i lift I soak up fluid for at least 48 hours. I am doing mostly just cardio though. So its been about 10 days since my last pics. Here are some new ones. I think the lighting i was using before wasting doing me any favors with my pics. There was light from multiple angles and i think that since only dramatic changes in weight can be seen through the amount of space you take up in a photo, and since we really rely on shadowing to judge leanness, Im going to change up the pics to only use one light source. Hopefully the changes will be easier to see this way. Also, the two front pics came out dark so i boosted their brightness. Im not really that color lol.

    I see some changes in the area in front of my lats, on my ribs. Front pose with arms raised shows this pretty well in comparison to the earlier photos. Also, my love handles look flatter now. There is still quite a bit of fat there, but at least it seems formed in the shape of a body now, coutoured into my pelvis instead of convex bulges as in the first back pics. Im not sure how fast I am losing fat. I feel like 2 more months and i might be pretty close to those original pics, leaness wise. I wont even try to estimate my body fat.
