Hey guys i'm 19 82.5kg think that about 181 pounds. i'm trying to cut. i was just thinking what do you think my bf% is it says about 18% on the scales.. i do alot of running and push ups and sit ups. still got alot to loose but least i'm giving it my best any help would be greatful. thanks
I'd say the scales are about right.

i do alot of cardio like 4-5 time a week running and 2-3 a week cycling. and push ups and sit ups. i have a good diet. i don't do weights. how much bf% do i need to get abs and how long could this be achived in??? like roughly. i'm training hard cause summer is 6 weeks

No offense, but I think you're doing the wrong type of cardio. Plus, push ups and sit ups aren't gonna give you that six pack. I'm guessing from the sound of it that you don't belong to any gym. Is that right? Also, what is your good diet? Break it down for us meal by meal. How far do you run? How long? How fast? Are you doing anything else besides push ups and sit ups? What about pull ups, dips, bodyweight squats, lunges, crunches, hanging leg raises, etc.? IMO, you should've been getting advice 6 months ago. Not 6 weeks before you want to show your abs. 10% bf is about where you'll start seeing chiseled abs. As you get under that 10%, your abs start to become more defined and ripped. But I don't see it happening in 6 weeks. Sorry if I came off harsh, but if you want better advice, then give more details so we can give better help.
id say around 17%, and i think you need to add some more mass, so you have more to work with when u cut.
thanks. no it's not harsh it's the only way i'll learn. no i don't go to the gym at all. but i was thinking of starting to go. get some mass on me. it's just 18% bf is alot doesn't look bad really but i'd feel comfortable having less bf. a 40min run i don't know the distance i keep my heart rate about 170bpm. pretty solid running.not flat out though just keep a good pace but still pushing myself. my diet isn't set out excatly how alot of people on here have it.i worked it about 170g of protien 130g carbs and 40g of fat through the day i consume. i eat about 5 times a day every 2-3 hours. i have protien shake after exercise. it's the low carb protien. does it look like my body will be a good physique for getting more mas on it?? sorry if that sounds weird
Yea I think you should start lifting. If you continue not doing resistance training, when you get lean you'll just look like a skinny kid. Get some mass on you :thumbsup:
Your running to fast, run at about 130 to 150 bpm this way your burning fat not carbs.
yeah i've been reading up the bulking diet sticky. i printed and read it through over and over again. just need to find/make a work out program. nutrition i got good, with the weight training i'll struggle. like reps and sets. is there any handy stickys out there?? if so can you post the link up thanks guys i'll start a log soon when i get it planned so everyone can veiw my progress any help info would be great thanks
Lift weights on top of what your doing.
Am i doing to much cardio for bulking? and do i go by the bulking diet sticky with it all?

I'm with the other guys when I say you should start lifting weights.
If you can't afford a gym membership, maybe go to a sporting good place and buy some weights and lift at home. I'm not sure which would cost less, but the gym would be a better bet. You can accomplish alot with a good attitude.
Yes Your running way to much. If you want to put on mass, you A. Have to perform resistance exercise. B. you must maintain a positive energy balance. This means you have to take in more calories than you burn. Its mathmatically impossible to put on weight if you burn more calories than you consume.
agree man...great attitude...build some muscle and the bf will fade simultaneously
Money not the issues with the gym membership. i feel as my attitude towards is good. but i'm glad you guys said it makes me feel even better towards this. i'll find a weight program i like and post it up to see what you's think of this, can i post the workout training her with the rest of the informtion on this thread or go straight to the workouts thread? thanks
Are you bulking (more mass) or cutting (to see your abs) ? Pick one.
Welcome to body building mate. At this early stage I would not worry too much about advanced training progs. Just hit the weights hard 3X/week, learn a bit about diet and you can not really go wrong. In this early stage you will quickly gain muscle and appear more lean and defined but it may not be as quick as you think. Most beginners think that it can be done in a few weeks of hard work. It will probably take you at least 5 years to look anything like the guy in your avatar and that is with very dedicated traing, dieting and very intelegent pharmocology (Not yet though!!!).
Learn as much as you can and you will reap the benefits but bodybuilding is extremly hard work and slow progress.

Diet is the main one i'm learning now... not just for the fact of bulking up but a healty lifestyle involves a good diet also
