    1 Month Progress since show

It's been exactly one month to the date since I did my last show and here is a progress picture. The difference in weight between the pictures is 32 pounds. I have been training 3 times a week and considering what I've been eating I'm happy I'm not extremely fat! I haven't been in the gym since last Wednesday. I took time off to spend with my bf since he's leaving this week for 2 months. Starting today I'll be training 5 days a week.

Here you can see vascularity and calves.

What I admire about you is the fact that you create a plan and you execute the plan. There's no gray areas in your plan as your plan is strictly tailored to meet your specific objectives. Your dedication and work ethic reminds me of one of my favor quotes by Michael Jordan. He said:

"I've always believed that if you put in the work, the results will come. I don't do things half-heartedly. Because I know if I do, then I can expect half-hearted results."

    Looking good sir.

    Carlos,

    Love the "after" picture!

"Competition shape" is great, as far as it goes... but you look awesome with the extra, off-seaon bulk.

    What's the current weight at?

You look great for 4wks past, not holding too much water either. Deff tell you're getting thicker.
I wonder though how much taking that week off hurt your rebound, every day counts after a show.

I'm not too concerned. I felt like I was getting the flu last week so Victor said it was OK for me to take the time off. My bf and I didn't do much besides eat and relax at home. Yesterday was a cheat day so we went to a bbque place and ordered a slab of bbque ribs, 2 orders shredded beef, 2 whole chickens, 2 orders of bbqued shrimp, 3 orders of bbqued hot wings, 2 orders of cat fish and a bunch of side dishes. We took home half a chicken and 1 order of shredded beef. The reaction we got at the restaurant was pretty funny. People just kinda sat and stared as we ate.

    More gains to come.

Thank you. I'm pretty happy with the results I made so far. I ran low dose. I wasn't working my ass off and I wasn't eating that clean. It's only been 4 weeks so more gains will come.

Thank you. Growing evenly is a good thing but it doesn't look like much of a change when it's spread every where.

Hey Carlos you're in your late thirties right? Well you look heaps better than most younger guys I know, myself included. How long do you think you'll continue bodybuilding for?

Bodybuilding and competing is a life style and I love it. I don't see myself stopping anytime soon. The only thing I can see stopping me is injury. So far I've had a partially torn adductor and bicep tendon and they're both healed. I'm not stopping anytime soon.

I would never compare myself to Ronnie. Ronnie is the man and a genetic freak!

People say muscle matures with age. The longer you have it the better it looks and I think age is just a number. If you walk around thinking you're old because of a number, then you're probably use it as an excuse. "I'm old it's OK for me to look like...." Me, I don't feel any different from when I was 25. Same hobbies.... personality is just as silly. I just make more money.

I'll keep training hard till I can't anymore.
