About to start...pics of Hans pre-cycle

    pics of Hans

    Age: 27
    5' 10"
    195 lbs.

I am seriously considering my very 1st cycle. I had been very skeptical in the past and let the bias media portrayals of steroids affect my decision to never use steroids. However, I see alot of good that can be accomplished through the use of AS so long as they are taken correctly.

My main concern is how hard is it to keep your gains? And do many of you get caught up with depression as a result of not being on a cycle (loss of gains strength and size).

I'm looking to gain around 10-15 pounds. I'm as big as I've ever been, but not quite as cut, as I have not been hitting the weights as heavy as of late. I'm not looking to do any bodybuilding shows. I'm into ju-jitsu and planning on playing rugby again this spring, I'm a inside/outside center, wing, or fullback.

So here are my pics. What areas do you see the need for most improvement? Sorry the pics are little dark, my apartment has terrible lighting for pics. And I'm a little too hairy in the chest.

Hey mate, looking good. If I had to critique I would say you are lacking overall thickness and you should concentrate on compound excercises in the low rep range to build strength and size.
It is not difficult to keep gains if a strict PCT protocol is adhered too. Also diet and training must be spot on. If you get all these things right there should be no reason to become depressed. It is the guys I meet who have crap diet and take gear, they look bigger while on, dont bother with pct, eat more crap, lose muscle, get depressed then jump back on cycle REPEAT!

Thanks pb01. My thickness was better a few years ago when i was still in school as I was doing alot of heavy compound lifting. But I've laid off that for the past 2 years or so and really jumped around in my workouts.

Here's a back shot too, I just realized I left this out.

Yeah, like perfectbeast said. Compound movements are the key. Just remember to eat & rest enough also. I am telling this to many people here, but its really much clever first to put up as much as possible musclemass + get your diet & life in order before doing AAS.

You have to prime the machine before running it full throttle, right?

    Cheers

Thanks fast, it's really hard for me to gain good weight. So I think I'm about as ready as I'll ever be.

Thanks foskamink, why 2008? Could you reach your goals sooner? Good luck.
