    GetnJAKKED-11 weeks out pics

Ok fellas-- I'm 11 weeks out yesterday... I was 193lbs this am--down from my heaviest 4 weeks ago which was 205. I'm going to be middleweight (under 176) at show time...I think I have made some HUGE improvements since my last set of pics.. thanks for commenting.

Yes you will be fine...do not get caught up in the whole weight thing so far out. The goal is to come in as conditioned as possible regardless of weight class...plus, you will be surprised how many punds you actually lose, i see it being no problem for you coming in at 176, in fact, you will probably be a little under that. You look right on track with you prep, and have made big improvemnets from your last set of pics.....your love handles have gone down dramatically, even despite your age(LOL!). I agree that your calves are huge, and shoulders look very nice and rounded from behind. When you hit your front lat spread, flare your arms out and get you lats to stick out, you have them, you are just hinding them by the way you are posing. Also, when hitting a front double, try to form an X shape wiht your body, rather than straight up and down. Other than that, keep at it bro.....i see the vascularity starting to creep into your arms and shoulders....youre right there, now is the time you have to grind it out!

I was figuring to come in under 175(closer to 172 or 3 provided I am where I want to be...the pics arent the greatest...I was trying to get good lighting in the den so i was kinda cornered..I am starting to practice posing this week with my training partner..he's a personal trainer at my gym so we can use the fitness room with all the mirrors & music system to pose to music...I am ready to do whatever I gada do for the next 10 weeks..thanks guys!

    Agreed.

    I disagree here.

He has come down some..but although 11 weeks is equivalent to an eternity to an experienced competitor, it isn't for a first-time competitor.

I think you need to buckle down and step it up at this point.

    Get your bodyfat tested.

The pics are poor quality ...yes

    But somethings are evident.

Firstly, you're at least 12% bodyfat.

I'll leave it at that for now.

Don't be discouraged however... you can make it. You've done well so far.

IMO you need to step it up however.

Like Uconish stated.. forget the numerical fixation..and try to come in in the best condition you can acheive.

    Weight is just a number.

Jakked I think you look great man. Nice proportions, all over, look great. And damn!!! The weight/bf part is no joke. I don't know a lot about those percentages LOL. You look lean to me bro, not comp lean, but lean. Below I saw Nark wrote that he thinks you are at least 12 percent. No joke on that bf stuff LOL, if I wanna start pursuing it. The absolute leanest I get these days might be around you, MIGHT, and it's still 12, which sounds high LOL. I'm sure he knows what he's talkin about though. I'm prolly around 15. Hopefully dammit!!!!!! But you look great, well done so far. Good luck with the rest of the preparation!!!!

    Great Attitude !!!!

I want to compliment your positive attitude. I competed in my first two shows last year and used this board as a guide to get the cold hard truth. There are alot of memebers that will support you throughout your journey. I agree with Nark's comment regarding conditioning as opposed to weight. I fell into that trap but was convinced early enough to change a few things. As a result, i came in very good conditioned and took second out of 10. Not tooting my horn but the point is I admire your willingness to accept the constructive criticism given. Your positive attitude and determination will bring you much success.

Im 11 weeks out myself. Curious to know what show you are doing ?

Keep up the hard work !

AVION....first off---THANK YOU for the compliments...I always try to stay postive & learn from the guys that have done it already. Thanks to NARK & his comments & time to PM me, I have re-structured my diet plan & as I told him, his words lit a fire under my ass to work harder as I know I have a long way to go but I still have time to be the best I can be. I try to support everyone as much aas I can in a constructive manner & I hope to get the same in return... thanks again. AND also a BIG thanks to UCONISH..

Pics not too shabby, lookin great. I agree, to be the best, you have to be willing to put yourself in uncomfortable situations. Ya gotta open yourself up and face everything, and be willing to match up against it and beat it. I've learned that throughout my life.

Hey bro, props on having the courage to compete for the first time...I remember the feeling all to well! You look good, but I agree with nark you are a little behind...nothing that is not manageable though. HOWEVER, based on the stats you posted it seems like you are progressing at about as fast of a rate as you possibly can without losing muscle. If you lost 12 lbs in four weeks. I would not be trying to lose any faster than that. If you do, you will inevitably start losing some muscle. And if you are not using AAS, the I wouldn't even be going that fast. Do not get caught up in the idea of a final number as your end results or stage weight. Focus on conditioning. conditioning reigns at the smaller shows. I beat a guy in my first show that outweighed me by 30 lbs and was shorter than me simply because my conditioning killed his.

Are you using AAS? If not, I would rather see you split your cardio up into 45 min in the am and then 15min or so in the PM, instead of doing a full hour in the morning. If you are on gear though, it is fine. I just would advise you err on the side of caution when it comes to muscle loss when you are natty. If time is a huge constraint though right now, then 1hr in the AM should not be too bad. Good luck bro and stay focused, you'll get there.
