    Back after 1 year layoff

It's been 3 months almost to the day since I started training again. I'm winding down my comeback cycle but still taking prop. ED with GH and slin. I just took these pics today and looking at them I still see a whole lot I want to improve on. I've been busting my ass to bring up the wheels. Wrapping my knees helped greatly to bring up my weight on squats and I'm doing calves at least 3 days a week. I managed to put 1/2" on them in 3 months. I started out at 180 pounds and was up to 210 before the GH. I've leaned out to 200 now.

No socks in there. Ok next time I'll hike up my boxer briefs. Your not supposed to be critiquing the unit anyway.

Here's a back shot which I'm not too happy about. I hate the way my lower back is so wide. It makes my legs look even smaller. I thought I was leaner than this but looking at the pics I see I have a way to go. I always hold fat in my lower back. Can anyone tell me what they think my BF % is? I want to have it checked but I wouldn't even know where to go. Also I notice how small my hams are. Maybe this is why I'm having trouble getting my quads to grow. I hate cameras.

I'm 5'11". Thanks everybody for the positive feedback. I'm 36 now and I have a goal to enter at least one show. Maybe sometime next year. I have some serious work to do on these legs. I'm not really concerned about winning. It would be nice to place well but I really just want to be part of the sport and just be able to say that I did it.

Im with you, going to do one in april, 33 years old, running out of time, but a pic on stage for memories would be nice. You look great.

I was dealing with personal issues. My head just wasn't in it. Got things somewhat straightened out and I feel much better to be training again.

Just an update. Upped the gh to 10iu's ED and i can't believe what a difference. I lost a total of 15 pounds since my bulker ended so at the moment I'm 195 but I've never been so lean and vascular. I'm finally losing the fat deposits in my lower back and you can see my waist getting narrower. This is me sick without training for a week. My diet went south this week too. Remember, no cardio. Once I get well again I can get back in the gym and put that 5-10 pounds back on. I just feel better being 200+.

Yeah I've always struggled with legs. I was cursed with bad genetics. It's my lifetime goal to bring them up though. I do squats, leg presses, walking lunges, extensions, and leg curls. I usually split up quads and hams. My thighs grow ok but the calves are stubborn as hell. I train the shit out of them 3-4 times a week til failure with minimal growth. I've been sick this week and haven't worked them so they shrunk right back down again. When I go back Monday I'm going to start concentrating more on lower body.
