You have a great 12 week out look. You are not going to bring up any lagging bodyparts in 3 months while contest dieting. Focus on your conditioning and your POSING!! Your front poses look decent but your back double bi is in need of major work. You working with anyone?

No I'm not, I'm getting random tips from people at my gym but it's just my training partner that is watching me pose & helping me... I'm pretty light on cardio still 40min 3x a week at a low intensity
Any good videos that can help me pose & design a routine?

Not that I am aware of. If you want to post your mandatories and quarter turns I will let you know what I see. I would disregard any advice from guys in the gym unless they have some experience competing themselves.

I assume you are going Novice? If so do you know what the weight classes are? Many time the Novice class has different weight cutoffs from the Open Division.

Yeah it's the michigan novice show.. I'm staying away from the scale right now because I'm dropping weight pretty fast, so I don't really know how much I'll weigh on stage... I'm going by the mirror

Bro - You're lookin tonk! you'll be in great shape by the show if you watch the diet. Make sure you get a good tan too - I've heard of some guys who got caught short at the show (like no one available on site) and came up pale.
Good luck, man!

Your conditioning looks to be improving. Now for the part you hate. Your back double bi is still a train wreck. Your pinching way too much in the back and you need to rotate your arms further backwards. Remember the judges are below the stage.
On your quarter turn the away arm cant be bent like that, the judges will tell you to drop it and look straight ahead.
On your front lat spread make a fist and push both hands into your obliques instead of in front of your stomach.
Those are the major things for now. Now go practice!!!!!!!!!!!Last edited by FireGuy; 01-18-2009 at 11:04 AM.

Alright, thanks.. With the quarter turn how would i place my back arm then? With the back double bi i do kick one leg back instead of standing with both feet planted right?

Your away arm goes next to your side, you can put a slight bend in it and can get a away with a slight twist towards the stage. On both back bi and back lat spread you should have on leg extended with a calf displayed.

Hey man - looking good - you'll be really shredded in 10 weeks! Agreee about the back DBB pose - it makes u look smaller than u really are - can't help 'cause I don't know much about posing - but I'm sure you'll figure it out. Really great physique, dude!
