    abs need help

    hey i was wondering what i could do so my abs show up when not tenced, im a skinny guy so i dont see what my problem could be, im 5.6 119 pound 20 years old, also i get told i have a wierd shaped becep anyone know anything i can do bout that??

    You can diet down more to see your abs but how far do you really want to go? You are skinny the way you are now, and you want to drop more bf ?

    no i dont want to drop body fat at all, imo i dont need to. thats why im asking if theres anotherway to get my abs to show, i dont want to be cutting thats why im seeing if theres anything i can do, like i said im skinny and i dont think it would be healthy for me to lose weight

    If you want them to show more you need to cut fat. You have to ask yourself if its really worth it.

    I am the same way. I start to see my abs at 155 but i look/feel sick cause im so skinny. Not worth it in my eyes. I keep a flat stomach but just not ripped abs.

    I used to have a similar problem. You need to bulk up. The increased muscle mass will help eat up any fat you have that you don't realize you have. Larger muscles will also show more. Whats you BF%? I used to look similar a few years back. I thought I had super low BF but it turns out it was around 14-15%. I bulked up and as the muscle got bigger, the fat got thinner and the abs showed more. If I were you I'd forget about the abs for now and concentrate on eating as much health food as you can while lifting as heavy as you can on the major large muscle groups with correct form. The rest will fall into place from there.

    abs are a muscle group.

    just because you're skinny, doesn't mean that muscle group will show.

    you need to gain more muscle to have better abs.

    ohryt so if i work them out more get them bigger theyl show more, is it best to do your abs with weight?

    that's part of the equation. you need increase your overall LBM, then your abs (along with other muscle groups) will show.

    I have found weighted exercises for abs work best for me.

    il try doing my abs weighted then, um not to sound like a tool but what does lbm stand for??

    right. and don't over train them abs.

    oh ok, yeah when i first started doin abs id do few reps and they would hurt in morning, wich to me is a good thing means there rebuilding but now i can push out over 300 sit ups and bout 100 with medicine ball but i get nothing from it, its like less is better

    would you do 300 curls to get bigger biceps?

    no because i wouldnt be able to do 300 curls of the weight i lift, thats just with lifting my own body weight,

    Overkill, You dont need 300 situps. I did 100-150 situps of different variations 3 times a week and had an 8 pack (back when I was 190). Switch it up, do harder ab routine

    yeah il give it a go, il also do each one slower see if that helps. iv noticed a big increase in strengh when i curl slowly so should work with abs aswel
