    ANy diabetic bodybuilders out there?

    Hey guys,

    I have a huge question....ARe any of you out there diabetic? I was just diagnosed this week. Would love to hear from any of you out there who know anything about diabetes who are also into bodybuilding.

    My old training partner is diabetic. I swear he got bigger and stronger as soon as he was diagnosed and starting using insulin , not incredible gains but impressive none the less. What I'm trying to say is that when controlled, diabetes wont hurt your progress at all and in his case only helped him, and if he hit a hard workout he could have some sweets after because of the carbs he burned.
