GGallin 485 Pound Bench
I got 485, then 10 mins later I tried 500 but couldnt lock it out. I put both videos up to be fair. 500 is going up next week. I feel like I might have had it if I hadnt done the 485 first but we'll never know lol.

GG if you would have arched your back when trying to lock out the 500lbs you would have done it. You have some brute strength! Now work on your technique!

You've got some awesome brute strength brotha!!! Man a few tweaks to your technique and you could easily be bencing 550+ in a matter of months. Great work!!!

Yeah kinda hard to see in the video. If you look close you can see one of them for a second lol.
Thanks for all the support guys. Next week I shall make 500 my bitch. I should start lifting with power lifters to get my form improved. Not bad though for not arching and lifting my ass 12 inches off the bench. If your goal is to move heavy weights why not get into powerlifting? I can put up an extra 50 pounds using powerlifter form. I don't like sacrificing ROM for weight though.

I'm trying bro. I'm gonna try next week one last time but if I get it or dont my diet starts next week. This time I am starting way early. Usually I would put off the diet too long thinking I have time before summer. This time I'm gonna start early and go slower and more gradual.

Once again no promises on the diet. And I wont put up pics every week lol. If I manage to get skinny and ripped I'll put some pics up. No need to flame me or "here we go again" comments. Hopefully I can attain my goals this time. I'm trying a new approach so hopefully it works. Slow and steady wins the race

Please dont take this the wrong way Gallin but you already failed. Look at what you wrote and where your mindset is. You are already talking yourself into failure before you even started. When you talk about benching its what you are GOING to do and you are confident. And guess what...you are successful at it. You talk about diet and its "if" "hopefully" "maybe" "try". You need to take the same approach towards diet as you do towards benching and you will get the same results.

Didnt end up getting the 500. I missed my peak I guess. Started cutting we'll see how it goes. I'll try to hit that 500 again next winter bulk.
