Great progress. I'm thinking of giving up this entire gig; I clearly have the worst genetics known to man. I'm going on 2 years and haven't made as much progress as you. And not to sound like an ass, but i'm willing to bet I have my diet better in check than you do...
Anyway, no knock on you at all - looking good, keep at it!

Gbrice,
You got fat kid issues Bro, you spent a long time fat and you are still carrying the metal baggage. You have come a long way, and you will keep getting better.
You look very good in your avi pic!
We are always our own harshest critic.
Sorry about that OP, great work for one year!Last edited by terraj; 06-30-2010 at 04:07 AM.

Thanks for the boost bro, I know I do have some of those mental/image issues from being fat for so long. I had that initial big weight loss early on, but just feel I haven't made much progress since then. I saw a kid in my gym this morning that looked like me 2 months ago, and today looked NOTICABLY different. Meanwhile, i'm looking at pics of me from last summer (that was already after the initial fat loss) and honestly I don't look much different now.
I feel like I have to fight SO hard for the smallest changes, like i'm trying to solve the mysteries of the world, and then I see people who change monthly and based on what comes out of their mouths, have 1/2 the knowledge I do (not saying I know everything). Just very frustrating and hard to stay motivated when you practically stay the same despite such effort and hard work.
OP - again, i'm REALLY sorry for hijacking your thread. I'm an ass and I didn't mean to make this about me. I just didn't want to start a new thread just to bitch about my woes.... sorry again bro.

Great progress mate.
And as for the guy struggling with his image, just remember, that when you're looking at someone who is more muscular than you and wishing you could gain easier, there's a skinny guy looking at you thinking the exact same things.
