First post, BF Estimate?
First off:
I know I have a long ways to go and am not even considering crossing over to the dark side at this point. I've been lurking here for a while and appreciate all the good diet, supplement and lifting advice.
Backstory:
Always a lean kid in HS played baskeball and baseball and was active. 1 year after I tore my rotator cuff and had surgery. After the surgery I got lazy as well and was up to 207 and 28ish BF....
That was 8 months ago, since then I have been in the gym doing HIIT and mainly working on cutting with high reps and lower weights. Clean diet (not as good as some members but I try to follow their examples as often as possible)
I'm at the point now I would like to start bulking and putting CLEAN weight back on, bad thing is 2 weeks ago doing military presses my shoulder popped out of socket again for the first time in 2 years and it has me a little worried. so I may need to take it real slow to prevent having to need another surgery.
Current stats:
5 10
171 as of today (was sick for 2 weeks normally I'm around 176)
Pics:
Sorry for the bad pics, will try to post better ones soon

I was 21 when I had the surgery and put on 30-35 pounds of fat over the next 1.5 years. Woke up one day 8 months ago and realized I was a fat ass

I would cut a little more but dont go crazy and lose any gains you have made. Then lean bulk

Thanks, I will keep the diet I have been on and once I drop another 5-7lbs of fat I will switch it up to a bulking diet.

I'd put you at around 17% or so. I agree with Noles, don't bulk just yet, BF is still too high IMO. I made the same mistake and i'm paying for it now, so trust me! Keep cutting, lift hard, try to get close to 10% and then do a very clean bulk. In the future, i'll never try and bulk until i'm 12% or less.

about 18% is my opinion, i tore both of my rotator cuffs bro so i feel your pain, but now a days i just ignore it until they get f*cked up all the way haha
diet my man, look at my BF% post, i was a fat ass i was at 28% bf bro and worked my ass of in the gym with 2 a days and 7 days of cardio and im down to 16% now and maintained most of my muscle

I too would guess aroudn 16ish. I would continue cutting slowly till you get to around 12ish maybe, then start building while monitoring youir BF%.
Good luck!
