3 Weeks Out Pics
Posted these in the Transformation Challenge Thread but not sure how many of you guys look there. Currently 3 weeks out from my next show. Didnt do any prep and no pump for the pics whatsoever. Just rolled outta bed and snapped them. 196.8lbs right here, planning on hitting the stage around 185lbs.

Is it me (yes i dont know shit about BBing) or do you not have anything but muscle to lose by a 10 pound cut?
Aside from that you obviously look like you know what youre doing, you look amazing. I love your back and your calves look really cool too. Did you post diet or cycle info on the transformation page?
P.s how tall are you?

Thanks, I have been waking up at 194-194.5 the last few days, not sure where the 3lbs came from yesterday. I was low carb so must have had too much crystal light or something.
Thanks Corey!
Thanks Matt, I kinda wish I would have started that transformation contest a bit more outta shape, I think I could have started with an extra 5lbs of fat and still ended up here.
Thank you.
This is why so many people who have never competed overestimate how much they are going to weigh on stage. They have abs showing at 210lbs so they assume they will be shredded at 190lbs. Yes, in the gym I "cut to hell" and "ripped to shreds" (other peoples comments) and I could step on stage in this condition and not embarrass myself. But...there will be a competitor or two who take it the extra mile on their conditioning and if I stand next to them in this condition they will make me look smooth and I will make them look even harder than they are by comparison. My shoulders still are not striated to the degree they need to be and neither are my glutes. My arms still have some fat on them and my back is still missing a few details to be truly stage ready. I am also not the most genetic blessed guy either. I have high lats, need more thigh sweep and have small arms. To overcome this I really need to outcondition guys with better structure than I have.
Oh, I am 5'10 BTW. Diet=High protein, low carb, low fat, 1900-2300 calories. Cardio, eight 30 minute medium intensity session, three 30 minute very high intensity sessions a week. Cycle, if it were legal I would have started 9 weeks out, very simple 700mgs Test P, 400mgs Primo a week and 40mg Var a day. Maybe toss in a bit of Proviron near the end, if it were legal.

Looking great as usual.
Just curious what kind of changes you will make to your diet and/or routine in the next weeks to achieve the final goals?

Looking great! What is your current bf%?
-
03-27-2011, 08:13 PM #11
I dont plan on changing anything, my current diet/cardio schedule has had me dropping a consistent 2lbs per week. If that holds up, which it should it will only be a matter of manipulating the water the last 48 hours to get me where I should be.

Calipers had me at 5.9% this morning although at this point it's really hard to say how accurate they are. The main thing is my total skin folds from all 9 sites is still going down on a consistent basis, which they are. Even a small water shift can change my caliper reading percentage by 1/2 pt.

Man, I can't wait to see your contest pics with all that water gone LOL! Very nice.
The only suggestion I have is to hit you legs more frequently they seem a little to small compared to your upper body.
I hope I can only look like you in the upcoming years. Good luck man.

Thank You.
Thanks Brother, I will keep you posted.
Thanks, I am opposite of most people, fat comes off my legs first arms last.
;-)
Thank You.
Thanks, working my ass off for this one.
Thank you, will do!
:-)
Funny my legs used to dominate my upper body and yes, now they could stand to add a bit more thigh sweep to match the top half. I have found the best way to bring up a lagging bodypart isnt training it more often it's training it more harder and more smarter. Then again I am closer to 50 years old than I am to 40 so not sure how much more size I will be adding in the future.

BTW FG, your low caloric in take is only for cutting purposes, right? do you still lift heavy during cutting or just do cardio?
-
03-30-2011, 03:47 PM #28
I love the way FG talks about gear LOL

03-30-2011, 07:21 PM #29
Thanks man, you will be on stage on day yourself. Gonna hold you to that!
Thanks, I often wonder if it's truly dedication or some form of addiction.
Thanks Bass.
Representing War!
Yes, went lower calorie and lower cardio this time around, my body seems to have responded better with this approach. Still doing about 5 1/2 hours of cardio a week so it's not like I dont do any. I dont lighten the weight when cutting, already at risk for losing lean due to the diet so try to maintain the amount of weight I use up until about 2 weeks out then I lighten up just to prevent tweaking a muscle.

Don't know about that, but if I could be in the condition where it were an option, i'd be one happy mofo. Thanks for your faith in me. Now I just gotta get you to move to NJ to train me! =P
As for the new forearm pic - holy SH!T bro!!! I'm nearly orgasmic when I see 2 little veins in my forearm. What you have is insane, love it! Great job as always.
Edit - just reread - and wanted to clarify that I didn't mean your forearm was making me orgasmic, lmao!Last edited by gbrice75; 04-13-2011 at 07:28 PM. Reason: clarifying the gayness of my post :)
