bf% guess and critique
Age: 21
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 235lbs
Years Training: 4
Waist: 32.5"
Background: When I was 17 years old, I was about 250+lbs and close to 30% bf. I dropped about 70lbs in 3 months. Basically starved myself, totally unhealthy, but I learned from it. I still have excess skin from when I used to be fat. Over the past 4 years, I bulked to 255lbs with a bf% of 20% or slightly higher. For the past 5 months, I have been cutting naturally and desperately hard to get down to 10%. 240 minutes a week of empty stomach cardio and diet has really been dialed in ( especially in the past 12 weeks---thanks to Damien and GBrice) Stomach is definitely a weak point for me when it comes to storing fat. If you were to just look at my stomach, you would assume I was 15%+, but I really think I am lower being that I really only carry fat in my stomach. I'm looking for a bf% guess (I know it's a tough one with my physique--I hear all kinds of #s) and some overall feedback. Sorry for the shitty pictures, iphone and bad lighting= shitty pictures. Arms are HANDS DOWN my weakest point, so fvcking stubborn. I'll try to get better ones up later where you can see my abdominal region better. ThanksLast edited by Gaspari1255; 12-15-2012 at 02:45 AM.

12-14% look good. You weight 235lbs?!?! We are the same height...just totally different build.

Yup...235lbs...I was 20-25lbs heavier in December but looked like hell. Stomach is my main target area. I've seen your pics, we are the same height and do have two TOALLY different frames. Really weird. I actually think you're a bit leaner than I am though.

No, id say you look leaner..especially around the waist and your delts look really solid.
im much thicker in my abs/waist area, might be my structure though? Anyways, you look great( no homo)
Can you give me some example of your lifts?...

Military 205x8
Hack Squats: 12 plates x 6
Deadlifts: 365x6
When I was at my biggest, I was able to throw up 150lb DBs on the flat for a heavy set and was military pressing 225 like it was nothing. Strength definitely took a big hit, but I don't care----I'd rather look better out of the gym then in the gym.

1st off congradulations on your transformation completly incredible, and yeah great physique. For someone who used to carry that much weight you have a really narrow waist, maybe this is why fat tends to show there? Anyway some better pics would be great and don't keep hiding your waist if you are looking for a BF estimate since it has to be included with the other parts to make up the total.

Thanks...and yeah definitely need better lighting and pictures up soon. I didn't even realize the waist getting covered in the front shots. I think I look leaner in person and with more lighting. However, the lighting sucks everywhere in my apartment. I may have to take them outside on a sunny day.

I really really wanna get below 10% by June. that seem feesible? Diet is the better its ever been and I don't think I could make many changes without losing more muscle that I already have.

Not the best pictures for sure but I would guess you to be 12ish from what I can see. Even at 6'2 I wouldnt have guessed your weight at 235lbs. Not doubting your claim just stating you appear lighter than that. Nice shape.
