My stubborn back...
My back has always been hard to grow. for years I would lift and no fvcking results. Got my diet in check, and started hitting it heavy and consistently.
What do you think? take it easy on me fellas

Thanks man!
Yeah I've been lifting for about a year and a half, plan to compete sometime in the future! Staying natty was the best decision I've yet to make, to any younger guys reading this, get a good diet and be consistent with your workouts!
Thanks bro.
Thanks alot, and yeah it takes time LOL. everyone whos spent more than a year in the gym knows this to be true haha.

Turns out the gear was bunk, so yes I did attempt to do a cycle years ago but to no avail.
I have however used tamox but that's about it.
99% natty... as far as I'm experienced with hdrol this is true to a point. Never have I ran real gear but i spent literally days researching the compound. So, I'm somewhat knowledgeable about it. Not trying to start a flame thread here.Last edited by CMB; 03-30-2011 at 10:42 PM.

who cares what you've done/claimed to do. lets just move forward.
as for the back - biggest thing that helped me was actually pulling with my back other than my arms..
-check your form. slow down the negative portion, but make sure your using your back
- try a thumb-over type grip, or a 'claw' grip. (simply just dont wrap your thumb behind the grip, lay it over next to your pointer finger) you'll pull with your back, and not your biceps as much this way.
- stretch out your lats after every set
- and last but sure as **** not least.. deadlift with good form.
I have a while to go. obv not a pro - but my back is sore for days after i started using the tips above. good luck man. train smart

Back looks way better than mine did at 18, and I started lifting when I was 14. Deadlift, deadlift, deadlift. For width, which is what I think you are asking about, lots of wide grip pullups.

You appear to have the same issue I do; a fairly developed and defined back, but very little mass and/or V-taper.
All I can suggest for the both of us is to work as hard as we can - we can't control everything, and I hate to say it but alot of this just comes down to genetics.
Don't beat yourself up though, you look really good bro.
