Hey buddy - great job - damn right better late than never!!! - i've just been into this for 5 years and i love it - I'm 51. You will be totally amazed by the changes in your body - it's very cool to see half way thru! Giving up drinking was very smart - i did the same and feel so much better and saves on empty calories and $$$

Stick with it! you've only just begun...

Whats next?...just finished third week of first cycle, 300mg Test E only. Loving it! Just started feeling it a few days ago, as workout aggression is noticeably up. Feeling great! Relative to my age and experience, I think I've done it right up to now. Although I would have liked to have been about 10 lbs lighter when i started. btw so far zero sides. Gained 4 lbs so far (eating a lot!)..hoping to get to 190 at the end

    Great progress,

Just curious, about how long were the before and after shots apart? Also as far as loosing 10lbs before starting the cycle its always good but IMHO for us older guys ( we are not old...just older LOL) its often really hard to loose the wieght while keeping muscle due to the natural drop in testosterone and the other changes in physiology. I am 55 and I can loose wieght and body fat while gaining muscle on cycle very easily, I can only assume this is because of age and the lack of conditioning as I keep reading how hard a recomp is normally.

Also curious do you know where your natural test was before starting your cycle?

    Thanks FFM,

Ohh yeah congrats on having the kahunas to post up pics of yourself at 50+ I have been trying to get up the nerve myself.

    Hello FFM,

The before pic is about two years ago. It took me a long time to lose 65 lbs because I was still drinking alcohol until about 5 months ago. It was the only thing holding me back from further progress. I was impatient with the last 10 lbs cuz the gear was in the closet taunting me! Test was 307 five months ago. Soon I will bump up this cycle to 400mg for two weeks, then finish out at 500mg.

Damn!! I did not know you had lost that much that's really phenominal. Congrats on dropping the alcohol I hate the stuff and feel once you hit 30+ it really plays hell on the physiology.

    Old man update

Just finished 12 weeks test e only, and currently running PCT. Gained 21 lbs, but maybe 10-13 lbs is water/bloat. Fountain of Youth!

Nice abs man!!!! there is some water to be sure, but it looks like you are going thru a body recomposition, gaining muscle, while losing fat - not easy to do. I'd say do more incline bench work to bring up your upper chest - that will make a huge difference.
