Genetics truthfully. I do love back because it's my strongest feature but I've always had wide lats. My general back routine looks like this
I start with 3 sets of back flies just to warm up a bit
Deads
135x20 warm up
225x16 warm up
315x10 warm up
405x10
500x5
500x5
DB BOR 150x10, 3 sets
Lat PD forget how much weight, whole stack x6-10 3 sets
Seat rows whole stack x10 3 sets
Frontal pull downs (forget the name) grab bar stand up and push it down like you're climbing over a wall with straight arms. 50-75 reps dropping weight as I go.
I'll also toss in some weighted chin ups into the end to compliment the bis a little bit. usually 80x6-10
