Getting back into it..
hey all, i thought i'd put a few pics up, as i am at the minute, i've been off for months with a shoulder injury and am just starting to lift again, i've dropped over 20lbs since my injury, so i'm trying to get back to what i was before at 247 lbs (17st 6lbs) (i'm only 5''9 haha) weighed myself yesterday and i'm down to 227 (16st 2lbs), i'm trying to gain as much as i can with my diet and training before i resort to going back down the synthetic route again. oh and the funny pic with my friend sitting on the machine was one of my biggest lifts i've ever achieved, i had 640lbs (290kg) on the machine and my friend weighed in at 352.8lbs (160kg) (he's 6"8) so all in was 992lbs (450kgs), my personal best to this day is 1216lbs (552kg) for 8 reps, i feel i could lift more

good stuff on the lift. cpl questions that rose in my mind, why is your rack so small looking? also, the 3rd pic, IMO ur knees are to wide. should be aligned with ur nipples and tight, not bowing out. good luck with getting back in tho.

That's a fair amount of weight on the leg press but my question is how far down do you come? I've seen plenty of guys at my gym load up the rack w/ 10-15 45lb plates but they only come down to about where you're at in the 3rd pic you posted or even above that. That amount of weight doesn't impress me, what does is performing the exercise w/ proper form. My advice for you is to lower the weight and clean up your form...I try to touch my knees to my chest when doing this exercise.
