Forget your back and anything else.. your legs are your base for everything..
Once a week is not enough.. or your routine n diet is not up to par.

If I were you, I'd try and drop some body fat, then follow either a lean bulk or recomp diet, ever read about Intermittent Fasting?

Training legs once per week is fine, 3 per week is stupid and rertarded. If you train them correctly hard, heavy and intense they will grow, your just not training them right and how them should be hit.

If you train your legs correctly it would not be possible to train them 3 times a week! Mine take 3-4 days to fully recover from an intense Marcus style workout!

Agree with the above. Forget doing legs several times a week. That's just silly.

I can't grow on once per week.. I have a few leg routines all which i would appreciate a wheel chair escort out the building.
Some days are 10x10 atg squats , some are 5x5 followed by extensions and curls. This would be a Tuesday and then I hit them again on Saturday in the form of deads followed by leg press and a few others
I found when I dropped to once per week my weights dropped significantly..
3 I think is too much. Even on cycle.
1 day a week helps me maintain
2 pushes me to grow.
Everyone is different and I am sure I could do all leg movements in 1 day , 2 just fits myself better seeing as how I ha e a 2day layover when the pain/soreness sets in
If your doing one and its not working. Then its not enough or not doing it correctly. Like everyone above said.
I may have a different view because I come from an Olympic training style background.
That could get into a size vs strength or power n speed debate as to what's best
See what works for u buddy!Last edited by largerthannormal; 02-17-2013 at 06:21 PM.
