no thats now 18.5 arms, 32 legs. at 240 lbs. in the pics at 169 my arms were 17 legs 29.5
and now we know who stole Tom Platz legs ;)
I have a friend who is entering his 1st competition and has the same issue...his quads over power his upper body. You have been blessed with the ability to put size on those things bro. They have good size and striations coming in. 32" is really huge (if they are in fact 32" and you're not exaggerating, that is....aren't Ronnie's 35?)
I know King K has 30in thighs... and he's 5'9" It's hard to tell... but Bigol'legs at 32" would be larger than King Kamali then...Quote:

I think ronnie looks so freaky with those 35.5 because his waist is so small.
As far a bigol Its hard to tell but he may be talking about pumped up also.. I know mine r right at 25.25 but pumped I get to 26...
ya when im cut i was 29.5. that 32 is now at 240. im 5'7" so its easy enough for me to get some size on this frame. i was wondering how much more i had to go to catch ronnie. 8) i know ruhl's legs are bigger but dont know how much. dude you know how much that boosts my confidence to know there bigger than kamil's. but not cut. im sure he breaks 35-36 when hes bulking.

no whats cool is when i cut one quad is bigger than my waist this year ( crosses fingers). last year my waist was 30 and quad was 29.5
Dude, your legs look great!! But they don't look 32" to me....or even 29.5" for that matter. I'm not saying you're lying, just saying they don't look as big as you claim but that's just my opionion (not that it's worth much :)). Post some recent pics, I'm very curious to see what an additional 70lbs looks like on your frame.

thanks thickmass. i dont have any graphic art here at work. and just to clarify they are 32 inches. ill post some more before and after pics in a new thread when i start and get some pics going when i cut up for comp. but thanks for all the compliments on the size, makes me want to superset squats and hacks, finishing up with extensions 8). i know just looking at my own legs they dont look that big but the tape doesnt lye. "you've got the biggest legs i've every seen" is starting to become my welcome line in the gym.
Alot of bodybuilders would love to have the quads you have. Just like a house, gotta have strong base.. and you're quads are freakin huge... Good job!!!
I would be interested to see how big you are now - always interested to see the dynamics - any pics of you bulked?

I work legs along with everyother bodypart once a week. I usually kill legs. 4-6 sets squats,4 sets hacks, 4 sets leg extensions,4 sets leg curls,4 sets stiff leg deadlifts. I always pyramid sets. warm up squats with 20 reps at 245. last set 4 reps with 650. hacks with 4 plates warm up 20 reps to last set 4 reps with 12 plates. extensions always max the machine. legs curls warm up with 20 reps with 110 and last set 10-12 reps with 150 (slow with these as with all other sets). stiff-legs i dont pyramid cause im worn out and its my stretch and winddown excerise. i always use 245 for 15 reps
You quads look great. Don't be concerned - they're not too large. Keep up the good work. You're fortunate that you're able to achieve great leg development - yep, people are envious!

Told someone I'd post my leg workout I did today. I started with Leg extensions. Set 1-210 for 15 reps,Set 2-230 for 12 reps drop set 150 8 reps,Set 3-250 10 reps dbl drop set 170 6 reps..110 6 reps, Set 4-250 10 reps trip drop set 170 6 reps...110 8 reps...70 8 reps. Then I hobbled to the Smith machine for some lunges. 4 Sets with 315 12 reps. Then Hack squats 4 Sets pyramid up. Set 1-315 12 reps, Set 2-405 10 reps,Set 3-495 6 reps,Set4-495 6 reps...2 assisted after the 6. Then Seated Leg kickbacks. 4 Sets-130 12 reps... dbl drop sets 70 8 reps... 50 8 reps. Then I went to stiff-legs 4 Sets-245 12 reps. Then Calves and abs after
I was actually supposed to get tiger striped trunks because I posed to "eye of the tiger" 8) The lady that ordered them for me got the wrong ones.

i don't mean to be a critic, you have some massive, muscular looking quads
but in certain pictures it looks as though they overpower your chest and shoulders/arms
