53 years of working out without roids

Started lifting when I was 14. The 1st pic is me in my 20's the 2nd is me in my 40's and the 3rd is me at 65. I have never done steroids . I am 66 1/2 now and just started a TRT program. I will post more pics as time goes on. I think it will be interesting to see how the TRT program effects me as I approach 70.

Outstanding noteven! Great to see someone who's lived the lifestyle! I'm guessing they were modeling pics from back in the day or something?
Glad to have you here. You will love the effects of a proper TRT protocol, both physically and mentally. Hopefully you have a doc who's up on TRT and giving you proper guidance.

Be sure to visit the HRT Forum and jump in the discussions. There's always room to learn and we learn from each other here every day.

    Again, welcome!

You sir a inspirational very rare bad ass

So far throughout life I have met less than a handful of guy over the age of 60 who look similar to your current shape

Thanks a lot for posting your pics, proves to show that juice is not the only way

Good luck with your new TRT regimen!

I think you will be quite pleased with your TRT results. In only a few months, you will feel some of the fires of youth being rekindled....

....You may want to give your woman a heads up and let her know to get ready (if you know what I mean), else she may never know what hit her! =)

I'm in my late forties now and been back training after about 22 years break from it. I'm inspired by you dedication...and results. Good luck with the program, I'll be keen to hear of the results. I'm new to the forum, will you be putting them in another thread somewhere?

    Great pictures and history,

You have a ton more experience training and likely a ton more knowledge.

But as someone who has had the experience of starting AAS at 55, I would like to pass one piece of advice. Be very careful working out till your joints CNS etc. have time to catch up with the muscle growth that will be taking place.

For me it was amazing how much my workout needs changed. I did not have to do nearly as many sets or put out nearly as much effort to achieve results. Because of the amount of growth taking place though I did need to allow lots of rest to allow my body to catch up to my ability/desire.

I am sure this is stuff you know intellectually, but a reminder could not hurt since soon your body and mind are going to be kidnapped by the changes the test causes.

I keep looking at this. very inspirational. I hope you make it to your 90's. I don't "admire" many men, but Jack LaLanne is one. And in a way, you seem to be on a similar path as Jack. It would be fantastic if you came back every few years or so and posted another pic. Show these youngsters what it means to spend a life time in the gym with a quality diet. The one thing I'm pretty sure Jack did not do was the TRT. To him, it wasn't a "natural" thing since it didn't come from a whole food or from exercise, and he wasn't too big on the drugs. So it will be interesting to see some comparisons. I'm on TRT, btw, and think, as you do, it's a great thing.

    Keep it up mate!
