Thanks guys. Will be updating as progress. Those scales and bio impedance BF testers suck.

This would be a 3 week update pic.. nearing a 30lbs loss in 6 weeks..
After reading around the Bio-impedance BF testers are not accurate for folks on Keto diets due to the hydration/ electrolyte levels being off.
    BF% guesses welcome
    thanks!

Great progress. I would say most all BF testers are off if you are in some form of depleted state. Sure they might be close on estimated LBM calculations since LBM includes water, but you could change things in a mere 24 hours.

But yeah, I really dislike bioelectric impedance. Granted my scale has it built in, it will mainly be reading the path up through your legs and back down. I did have it make dramatic changes within one week from starting creatine which you know effects water retention and electrolyte balance. I stopped looking at the reading on my scale. Have a cheap skin folds caliper that I do a simple 3 point test with, seems to be decent until I have time for a bod pod, which gives mixed results sometimes as well.

Thanks! Yeah my scale tells me Im 29% or so which is way off. Ive done the 3 and 4 point calipers. Also the many different measurement by tape. All end up around that 17-19%
When I get closer to my goal maybe ill try the pod or dexa if I can find one.
