Good enough base for 1st cycle?

    42 yo, 6'0 186lbs
I have had a tight diet with heavy lifting for 10mths
I am still seeing results, should I wait till I plateau?
I know that my arms are lagging...everything I do goes to my chest
went from 40 inchs to 45.5 inches in 10mths.

At your age, if you wanna dabble in AAS, go for it

But as you said, if your still getting those newb gains, ride them till the plateu. Then hop on test.

Ya never know, you could have a legitimate medicinal need for test anyway

Base is ok, better than what most people have when they start!

I mean you could certainly run a cycle, but you should decide based on your own research. If you are still seeing results, then personally i would continue to train naturally, conduct as much research as possible and then look into running a cycle. But everything else seems fine!

Well first off great job man your hard work is paying off!

I'm also tall and for us it's difficult to engage biceps properly so I highly recommend using cables for bi's and really focusing on that squeeze at the top and the stretch at the bottom of motion. I assure you that will make them respond. Also, you can use dumbbells but turn your wrist out at the top of the movement to fully engage your biceps!

As for jumping on gear, at your age you're probably on the lower end of the spectrum anyway in regards to test levels so I'd go to a doc and look into trt to see if you're a viable candidate.

That would be your best option as you'll have doctor supervising your bloods and managing the "problematic" hormones like estrogen and prolactin.

Sorry for not getting back to everyone who gave advice.
All advice was valuable and the link provided by charlie had all the info I was looking into.
Took Eduke93's advice and riding the natty gains while I can, but reading up on the site for when things slow down...no sign of that now.
    Here is my current physique.

    Thanks again
