    Fng Pics

Greeting fellow muscleheadz...I'm new to the site and I figured the best way to try and fit in is to show you I know where the gym is at. I enjoy and request constructive criticism so give me your best shot. I know my wheels need work but I'm pretty proud of my traps and shoulders. So...tell me what you think.

In all honesty the "shiny" is because I was preparing for my first show about a year ago. This latest is more recent and after a six month "mass" stage. Currently, I'm 5'8" and 200 - 14% BF. The goal is to stay at two bills and drop my BF to single digits. Damn, do I sound like a new guy? Oh well that's why I'm here to learn...
    Thanks for the feedback.

you are definately less than 14%bf and i would say very close to 10% but maybe you hide your fat in other areas ex. legs and back

Actually I was pretty soft in the first pic and it was my first show and I had no help. I placed 5th out of 30 believe it or not. It was a military show so that's probably why I did so well. I used the good ole' military BF tester Weight/Height/Waist/Neck formula. I'm not sure how it's done (there's a table that calculates the above measurements.

Great job, T.MASS. You look good. The first pic is definitely way to watery. Second pic is better. Add some strong anti-e's to the end your training for competition and you'll get that hard look.

    SimplyJakked,

I had a formal, advanced body mass reading done at my doctor's office. He has a high-end machine especially for measuring body fat. I'm at 12% (had been 11%). So I'm guessing that T.MASS is not at 10%.

I don't think people realize how cut a person can be between 10% and 13% bodyfat. When a person has a single digit BF (less than or equal to 9%), s/he will have easily visible deep cuts and muscle striations. That's not the case here. But I believe with some more hard work, T.MASS will be well into the low BF numbers.

Best of luck, T.MASS, and welcome to the board!

    bask8kase-
i also had my bodyfat done professional albeit not by a machine(too much room for error) i had a seven point caliper test done by a pro who is certified and a doc. like you i am at 12%. i think he is looking a tad more lean than are we because i look alot like your picture and also to me it looks like a bad angle and a weird stance to get a solid glance at any of his cuts. i would definately stick solid to guessing at 10,11% maybe even 12 i know that is quite a difference from 10 to 12 but in the pictures it is a tough call.
