I have a buddy whose fiancee dropped major weight... from like 230 down to 130. Her biggest reply when people see her before and after pics is - "I just started to become active - not so damn lazy..."
In reality she would found a lifestyle in the gym and working out period... rollerblading and whatever... as well as learning to like foods other than empty calories.

I would love to hear what your wife did to lose all that weight. I am trying to convince my wife to start some sort of weight loss program, but she has no motivation and complains of not knowing where to start.

Thanks for the kind words everyone! My wife followed a diet that I put together for her that was very simmilar to the one I followed to lose 78lbs in 4 months. My mom who is 55 years also managed to drop close to 60lbs and my best friend and training partner managed to get into half decent shape by following my program as well. Have a look at my webpage @ www.avigdor.net . On a side note, it's tough to try to convince someone to lose weight if they don't actually want to do it themselves!
