    Is There Any Way???

Is there any pheasable way to track the post read by new members and make them have to read the "basic" rules and certain applicable threads BEFORE they can post anything?? I know they can't PM for certain period of time. Maybe something like that???
Or can you email them the threads at sign up???

I am sure you probably thought of all this before, but it gets scary to read the newbie threads Especially when they talk about injecting BEFORE they even know anything about PCT and things like that?

    Just curious!!

Thanks for a great site and for your time!!

yes there are modifications AR staff could add... were new members cannot post in certain forums... or cannot start new threads only reply untill they reach a certain post count ....

or they simply could use the access mask thing to certain usergroups would be same thing.... ino how to explain it... but its verry possible but dont see it happening

If you make nOOBs post a certain amount of time before posting in new threads etc.. you will end up having more junk, hijacked and crap threads than ever before.

We cannot stop nOObs from posting dribble but we can offer sound advice when they do.

i wish there was a way to make it so that new members had to view 100 threads before being allowed to post. this way they cant just hit continue to acknowledge a single post without reading it. and it would allow them to actually discover the "search" button.

There is a option in Vbullitin to moderate posts for newbies. What this means is the newbie would post however it would not hit the board until a Admin validates his posts, after the newbie posts 10-20 times or whatever Admin sets it for, his posts would hit like ours right away. Problem is, you need someone to go into the back end of the board daily to validate shit. It is lots of work
