What are the reasons for locking a thread... Can somebody help me understand the obvious reasons and not so obvious reasons?



There was a thread titled "WTF is Tone????" in the AR lounge which originated with Carlos_E that was locked recently. Nothing seems inappropriate about it

Maybe I'm missing something,

All of us moderators read this forum daily, however no one is going to explain moderating procedures, just bypass the closed threads and move along.

BTW, this was closed before I got here, so your thread is an example of why things get closed.
