    question: why is my avatar small and in the lower left hand corner?

    I'm going to try and reload it. It doesn't preview with white boarder. I'll check to see what size too.

    I'm guessing you edited it in microsoft paint and have saved it with the border around it.

    Compress the picture but make it larger. This will reduce the number of pixels so you can increase the physical size.
