    signatures not showing for noobs

today when i pm'd 007 for a source check, he mentioned that in his signature he states that he does not do source checks. i thought this was weird, since i've never seen a signature on this site at all. he said that i would have to adjust my options in the user cp in order to view signatures. i went to my cp, and checked every option, and couldn't find anything mentioning signatures.

i'm assuming i'm not alone, and that this has caused a bit of an issue for the site. especially since it is a means of filtering out questions about source checks for the members who would not like to be asked. it might be a good idea to set signatures to be viewed by default. just my 2 cents.

I was actually going to suggest starting a thread on this, there is an option somewhere that just needs clicking to allow you to see staff members signatures.

By activating this members can get a better idea of which staff members do and do not do source checks....

I thought the activation button was under user cp however i to am having problems locating it, i know its there somewhere...
Do not ask me for a source check.

    Ok try this...

    Go to user cp..

Click on edit options under Settings & Options..

Then you will see under Thread Display Options, Show signatures, click on it then save...

    Hope that helps...
Do not ask me for a source check.

ok! now i can see it...lol...that's hilarious. you must think people are a bunch of retards when they pm you for source checks when your sig says:

"Please never ask me for a source check, as none will be given..
    EVER"

but like i said man, most people don't even know it's there lol. guaranteed that the only people who are seeing signatures right now, are board veterans.

i'm a moderator on 2 other forums myself, so i have a bit of experience dealing with stuff like this. honestly, a thread or a sticky won't stop it, since most people will pass it up. only way to fix the problem would be to change the setting for all users by default.
