How many posts to be able to send PMs?

Hi, quick question, ..how many posts do I need to have before I am able to gain access/ability to Private Messaging? It seems I have read that 30 is the magic number, however I am above 50 and still do not seem to have access to send PM's. Also, how do I get my name turned pink? When I try to click on my name or access my profile i get this error message:

Hmm..that's weird. You should be able to PM after 50 posts...

It is 50 post to PM and access account
but..you can also post this question in the "ONE-ON-ONE with STAFF" forum if you want to do so.

And as far as turning pink? That sometimes takes no time and then sometimes takes awhile. Just depends.

There could be a combination of post count and how long you've been a member. I know to get a source check it's a combination of the 2...something like 50 posts and 45 days as a member. So maybe it's the same way with PM's. I don't have a clue.

100 posts
45 days of activity in good standing
ask a "willing" vet / Hall of Famer

tip: make sure the vet wants to do a source check. Some DO NOT and do not like being asked.
