Cant upload photos with iphone5

Hi, as the title suggests I cannot upload photo via the iPhone app, it says file invalid.

I cropped it thinking it was to do with the resolution but this did not work either.

Photos could be too large. If you take the photo with the reverse camera on the front of the phone it should work fine. However, I am not having any issues with iphone 5.
