No break down, everything is still working great. I just don't post a lot on my days off and this was my long week, 4 days off. Just back to work tonight so Ill get my logs updated.
Shoulder is a little better. I gave it a little rest this week and finally remembered to try wearing my shoulder support last night when I slept and boy did it make a big difference.Last edited by lovbyts; 04-21-2013 at 04:00 AM.

LOL sometimes I'm not sure what I am thinking because my main complaint and the reason for getting back into PT for my shoulder is because I was just feed up with it hurting and waking me up ever couple of hours a night. Like I need another reason to wake up every 2 hrs a night... lol
I have never slept with a brace. I'm not sure why I didnt think of it before but it made a big difference just the little bit of support it gives. I had to order a new one though. It's a medium and just a tad bit snug, OK it's a lot snug. This is the type I have.

Back in the saddle again so to speak. Got a really good chest workout tonight. I think when I get my new shoulder support I'm going to try training while wearing it and see if that helps at all.

started updating week 7.
Been a rough couple of weeks. Stomach issues and lost a little weight/size but I'm still pushing through but got a long ways to go.

Started cardio. I should have started a few weeks ago. 10 minutes on the treadmill was a killer. lol

Yeah now I have to start the dieting part also. Ill start tomorrow.
Starting tomorrow because I have to finish my lasagnas tonight. lol
Only going to cut out most carbs such as dairy, bread, sugar (except from fruit). The hardest part is going to be getting the wife to stop sending white rice with me and wanting me to eat rice 3x a day. lol

My ROM is pretty good but damn does it get sore still, especially when I push it on the ROM. I had to stop my PT for a while again due to being tired of being sore 24/7
I'm going to bump up my TB500 (I keep saying that) for a while and see how it goes. Right now I am only doing it 1x a week at the most. Thanks for asking about the shoulder.

Instead of pillows use Thai girls on each side of you to keep from turning.

Hmmm I though I had a couple more of them on my computer but they must be at home. Yes a little more revealing. I do have a short video I could post also.
The one on my right has an awesome rack; very apparent in the video.
Not that you care but I updated my week 9 log with a couple pictures of just me, sorry.

How's training and diet?
-
05-19-2013, 02:04 AM #106
Training good. Not as intense as I would like but if it was my shoulder would be complaining a lot more.
Diet, Hmmmmm well sometimes I pass up the carbs. lol Slow tweak.
BTW thank you for the suggestion of sleeping with a pillow or ??? under the shoulder. I have been using a pillow sometimes or blanket and it does seem to help keeping it elevated a little so my shoulder does not lay flat on the mattress.

I hear you. That's why I stopped after 2 months or so just to get some relief then jumped back on recently for another 3 months but I'm done again. I dont think I'm getting any more improvement from the PH, deep tissue massage or A.R.T so it's time to go it on my own.
Ive been pretty good about the EOD of 1cc TB500 and it might be helping a little. I'm thinking about going in for a cortisone shot soon just to see if they helps loosen things up?

The last 2 weeks I feel like I am finally starting to hit it like I should be. Been taking it pretty easy due to the shoulder and still going light but I'm starting to finally feel some good pumps the last couple of weeks.
Can we go back about 6 weeks and pretend this is only week 4?
Actually I think one thing that has helped the last couple of weeks is up until 2 weeks ago the only mirror we had in the place was a 4x4 mirror.
That's 4" x 4" lol
I bough one of those 5'x14" mirrors (better than nothing) that hang on the back of a door and use that to watch my form. Makes a big difference from thinking your form is good and seeing that it is.Last edited by lovbyts; 05-21-2013 at 06:37 AM.

How's your weight doing buddy?
Nice trick of update pics hiding the absNO SOURCES GIVEN

LOL no trick it's unintentional pose. Never had much abs but they are starting to show for once.
As for the weight, I have not weighed myself in a couple of week. I keep meaning to every day and walk into the bathroom meaning to use the scale but due to my add by the time I'm done with other business I forget. lol
I did not gain nearly as much as I wanted to but it's mostly been a trade off of gaining muscle and loosing fat but I think I'm up about 7 lbs from where I started. Nothing to brag about for sure but I can see a big change from where I started.

Staying focused and motivated is going to be a little tricky the next few weeks but I have all intentions to finish strong. Serving the wife with some papers this weekend that aren't going to make things to pleasant around home (not that they have been in any way) for a while but they are a long time coming and needed.
Luckily I do most of my working out at work so I can do it without to much distraction. Got a lot of planning and preparing to do also but I will take care of that as it comes. It's nothing I haven't seen coming for 2+ years I just had to make up my mind to throw the switch so to speak.
On another note I have been experiencing something weird for a couple of weeks. My right chest about 2 inches ABOVE the nipple has had a very sensitive spot. My nipples are not sensitive at all, there are no lumps under. over or behind them.
It has felt like an ingrown hair but also felt like a small part was sticking out and any slight touch by the hand or shirt would send almost a little shot through it. I could not see or find anything.
Finally a few days ago I just started rubbing and squeezing the area like I was trying to pop a pimple or ingrown hair. Nothing came out and I only found the exact location a few times. For the next 2 days it was sore/bruised in the area where I had been pinching, squeezing and rubbing it of course but not it feels like it's gone, no longer sensitive or sore.
Any ideas?

Sounds odd! I have a small grain sized lump near my elbow that hurts when I mess with it but for the most part I don't know it's there, certainly it never hurts unless I'm really pressing it.
Re: the weight, I don't think many of us are particularly good at guesstimating where we will end up at a certain bf%. I think ALOT of us will have a little disappointment about our weight at the end of this but, of course, it's the look that we SHOULD be concerned about.NO SOURCES GIVEN

Well I think I was right and it was just an ingrown hair that must have been very sensitive since anytime it got touched just right or my shirt rubbed it, it would feel like something was sticking me. Had me worried a little but since I decided to rub/squeeze it that one day and after the soreness went away I have not felt anything since.
I finally got around to weighing myself. Weight is pretty much as I figured, same as when I started. 182 but there are some pretty obvios physical changes. Not as much as I was hoping for but the diet has not exactly been as strict as I had planned nor has the cardio.
No biggie, just gives me something to shoot for the next month after the contest to try to get down to 10% bf.
