Kit, thanks for that, I normally gargle salt water. My last one was viral and I had a fever and required antibiotics. This one isn't as bad. It's shopping day today I'll look for some Benadryl. Do you know the relative ingredient, I suspect the make up of Benadryl is slightly different over here.NO SOURCES GIVEN

Thursday is normal weigh in day for me so I did. 188lbs, that's up 6.75lbs in the 2 weeks since my pics were taken.
Trained legs today, felt nauseous during the middle point of the workout but had a great session.
So, this weekend is Easter. My Mrs wants to make it a family (her, our 2 year old and me) for it to be like Christmas. Fun, games, chilling out and nice food. My Mrs doesn't have an ounce of willpower when it comes to food and she hated the fact that I do. If be happy just eating my Easter lunch in Sunday and some chocolate as a cheat meal. She's gonna want to eat 'nice' stuff all weekend. I told her she can but not to get upset if I don't, I don't mind her eating it in front of me it really isn't a problem. But it makes her feel better if I join in. I don't intend to. This could be an interesting weekend!!!!NO SOURCES GIVEN

Spent this afternoon at a kids party with my little girl refusing all temptation. Fir Any Cricket fans out there I'd just like to say the England spinner Graeme Swan was in attendance at the party.

Chest day. I normally train first in the week (cliche I know). And I've had 2 terrible nights sleep. So I trudge to the gym expecting a really shitty workout. But, I've had too much enforced time off recently through surgery and illness. I tell myself how embarrassing my pre comp photo's were. How easy it is to take the easy route like 99% of the population. That I'm not getting any younger and that this is the time I need to recapture, and better, my best days.
I tell myself all if this before and during every set. I thrashed every rep, set and weight that I did last week. I destroyed myself. Straight sets, rest pause, less rest.
It train 4 on 3 off. I doubt I could train like that 4 days in a row but I have no excuse to not try it and find out. Starting Tuesday with delts

I'm keeping everything here mate. I quoted my cals and macro breakdown in post 1. That's been the same for the first 2 weeks. My additional 100cals will be from protein which will change the macro's slightly (obvious I know )
I didn't post up a typical days eating though so I'll share that
Pre workout
Shake consisting if oats, WPI and cottage cheese. I also take my fish oil, vit D3 and multivitamin here
P/C/F
48/58/10
Immediately Post workout
WPI
50/1/0.6
Meal 3
White fish with green veg
Bran flakes with skim milk
55/70/7
Meal 4
Chicken, green veg, rice/potatoes/bread
50/58/9
Meal 5
Tuna with low fat mayo and ketchup
Red/yellow bell pepper
Potato farls with raspberry jam
43/63/10.5
Meal 6
95.5/4.5 minced beef, a tomato based sauce, rice/pasta
51/48/12
That's very typical. It's much easier to stick to the plan if I stick to the same foods. My food choices wouldn't be any different if I was cutting . If I wanted to be below 10% I would probably drop a few things and make 'cleaner' choices.
