Hi everyone.
I was glad to find this forum to be able to exchange info and pts of view about lots of stuff.
I live in Europe, and at latin countries women here are usually expected to do nothing but cardio and some soft weights. Many guys look at us sideways when we grab a heavier dumbell... like thinking "omg, she's gonna drop that and we'll have to come to the rescue". Luckily, my hubby is not one of those.
I am turning 37 soon; 2 kids and many years far from the gym gave me a nice amount of bodyfat (which i don't know exactly how much but calculate over 30%). I took the decision of going back to a gym but due to my work i can only workout early in the morning.
Hubby encouraged me into the weights area and after about 4 months I saw a big development in my own strength - but ... weight won't come down, although chunks of fat around the hips are gone.
I'm currently doing 3 days of weights a week, alternating with 2 days of cardio & abs.
I'd like to aks the gals around for dieting tips: stuff I can carry to the office ... i have lunch there and don't have much of a choice of what to eat.
So, considering i get up at 7 am, workout 8 to 9 am, coffee break at 10.30 am, lunch time at 12.30, afternoon break at around 4 pm and go home at 6 pm ... what can i take to eat at the office to keep a diet as clean as possible? I don't have access to a fridge there, so no use taking large amounts of food - just the necessary for each day.
Ahh, and saturday lunch is cheating meal.
Breakfast: a kiwi fruit or a banana and a yoghurt.
PW Shake is one scoop of whey & water.
Lunch: something grilled with rice, if possible.
Afternoon: fruit or yoghurt.
Dinner: big problem. I always get home pretty hungry and have to take care of kids' dinner first so I endup biting here and there and lose control of how much I ate.
A cup of milk before bed and that's it.
What can I change, add, whatever, to maximize weight and fat loss ? I do not have a deadline but would like to lose 20 pounds before the end of the year ...
Since pre-menopause happens kind of early in my family, my hubby thought that might be part of the problem I have losing body fat at my belly - estrogen unbalance. So he thinks I should consider using AAS to help me with this but I don't think I should at this point.
Well, any feedback will be appreciated.
Thx all of ya, peace out.
