Newbie seriously considering 1st var cycle!
Hi Ladies!
I'm so excited to be here! I can't wait to finally get my body where I've always wanted it to be. I'm confident I'll gain priceless knowledge and tips from you gals. Your pics and stories are so inspirational I hope to some day post some of my own and do the same for a newbie like myself.
Here are some of my Stats:
35, 5'4, 140 lbs (on a good day), 36% bf (according to my last body-intake reading)
currently injecting 2ui of HGH e/d, thinking of starting a cycle of var
I train 5 days a week when I can (two boys ages 2 & 3 keep me busy)
Up until recently I was spinning 45 min M-F, decided to change up to only twice a week and strength train 3 times a week. I noticed my body wasn't changing much anymore and starting talking to some trainers at the gym.
I'm ready to get my gains on, mentally and physically!
Comments, advise, best practices ALWAYS WELCOME!
xoxo,
Coco

Welcome. If you at truly 36% bf, I suggest you may need to look at diet. You were doing a lot of cardio and agree u need both. Diet is number one. Training a very close second and then gear.
Var cycles will help gain muscle if you r lifting consistently. Lots of gals stack with clen to burn fat. I prefer Albuterol.
As Kelkel said, search for female var Cycles. There's also info posted in the female only forum. Need to ask for access in the new member forum. There's a sticky to require pink.

Thanks GGR!
And yes you're right, I certainly need to drop bf%. I've only recently started researching female friendly gear and have read var is the "girl gear". I've also read water retention can be an issue and I retain water like a whale! I'm still in the research stage.
As for Diet, I've been following a generic diet given to me by a trainer at my gym. When I asked him if I should look into sups all he recommended was Isopure. Which is great but I want something more effective. I'm willing to do the work, hell I've been doing it for over a year now. I'm just ready to see some serious results.
I've already requested "pink status" Just waiting on approval.
So glad I landed on this site. Seems everyone around me is against what I'm trying to achieve. I get the ol' "but you're already hot" comment. That's nice to hear but I want to be a lean, mean, mommy machine lol.
And after reading everyone's comments on Roman's "is chubby the new skinny" thread...No chance in hell I'm going down that route! LOL!!

LMAO - Ha
Nah, it takes time - diet is #1 though, no special way to just drop Bf
There are few things that help and what not, but it's primarily consistency over time
Var or any other "juice" def helps in many aspects, but like you mentioned also - water retention is bitch, even way more on gear
There are quite a few different ways to attack a weight loss type diet, but it's up to you to figure out what will work the best for yourself.

I'll probably pee my pants if I hear from Times Roman and Austinite LOL!!

welcome coco. your in the right place. you can learn a lot from this forum. if you start any cycle i would take photos and muscle measurements (calves, thighs, bi"s, body fat %, etc) at the beginning and at the end of each cycle. this will help you see your gains and what you need to work on.

Lol - ok
But, like mentioned above - Measurements are really the best way to judge what and where you are losing or gaining weight throughout the body - the scale is not enough
And for sure - I don't like it by any means, but diet is always #1 - nothing makes that part better. Well, a little when you gain more muscle & the body can absorb a little more garbage that we feed it sometimes

You both bring up a good point.
I will need to log my progress to pin point my target areas. As of now I've only been using the In-Body machine at the gym every month to get my BF% and LBM. And of course my jeans, which fit tight at my thighs and great everywhere else, lol. (the squats are working)
As for diet, that's where I struggle the most. I have a generic diet given to me by a trainer/friend but nothing specifically tailored to me. I will need to read up on the diet and nutrition forum to build my own.
The ramp up stage for this life style is a lot of work. But I'm in it to win it!

Oh yeah, for sure - the diet is the toughest aspect
Juice/supps - easy enough
Lifting & working out - okay, fine
Diet - what a bummer, can't eat this or that. It takes a super long time to design a diet that works for you. You have to like it enough to be able to stick to it. And it has to be solid in nutrition content < tough balance
I have tried out nearly everything on myself before I came to a good solid fairly normal to follow nutrition plan.
