How dya do!
Hi folks, been throwing weights around, for nigh on thirty years now at forty eight.Six four, and 230 pounds.
Struggled with injuries last few years,so trying a different approach now.No time for other hobbies like fishing
or kayaking,as i'm giving five days a week to the iron..Sh*t or bust,as they say.
I've found the site to be rich with valuable info.,so joining seems a natural progression.

Thankyou kindly all, just got back from the gym.Been back there for 4 weeks, after many years of messing around, odd days training,no attention to
diet, and many other distractions.Over the Christmas/New year period,i was suffering serious depression, and was at the tipping point.
I then seemed to have some sort of Epiphany, clear everything associated with negativity, out of my life, get back into serious training, and get my
health back.I'm a great believer in healthy body=healthy mind.
Well, after four weeks of hard work(yeah,i know that's just the blink of an eye),i've lost seven pounds of fat, mostly around my midriff, can see my
abs,and can see seperation, and definition in my muscles. The best part,is i actually look forward to every session, whereas one time,i looked on
going to the gym as a chore. My energy levels are great, and i have to try not to overdo it.I hope it stays this way, because i feel like i'm a
different person altogether..onwards and upwards!
