whats up everyone....blown been switching between westside and bodybuilding. Been doing a lot of olympic lifts lately. Start in Jan i'm gonna do straight up bbing for my first show in may.

Basically, I didn't have a spotter for about 3 months. Swapped out ME bench for some low volume DB work instead. Then had a High Volume (8-10reps) day instead of DE...
I now have a spotter again, so I'm back to normal ME/DE days. Great.
For lower body, been hitting up the normal DL day, but haven't squatted in months. Mangled my ankle, and have been unable to get down in a squat without it basically bringing me to my knees. Still hasn't healed 100%, but I can still DL thankfully. Will be squatting again ASAP...
Other than that, it's been pretty much a classic WSB routine... no rev. hyper's though, but lots of glute/ham work.
ya u gotta love westside. I tried doing what u did but thought it was too much doing legs twice a week one day hypertrophy the other DE OR ME so now just back to doing bodyparts. wsb was great for strength when i was playing football though.Originally Posted by Blown_SC
I would go with a heavy day (ME) and either a light/speed day or Volume day... I've found both to be beneficial, but where I'm at right now, I really like the Volume days better, and I try to work on my explosiveness/form at all times.Originally Posted by dr.shred
