Exclamation Obese And Lost Confidence Help

I will appreciate any one who takes the time to read my story and offer advice.

I am a 28 year old business owner who has gained 150 pounds over the last three years. At one point six years ago I had weighed 250 pounds. I decided that I would become athletic, begin exercising, and in six weeks do A cycle. With educated consulting from a friend no longer with us. I embarked on a training regiment. With in six weeks I had lost 15- 20 pounds and began a cycle of clenbutorol, dekka, and winnstrol to cut fat. I felt great and 16 or so weeks later got down to 205 pounds where I stayed at for about 3 years.

I opened up a business which required me to work 80 hours a week, left me drain at the end of the day, and allowed me an excuse to neglect the hard work that had once put in at the gym. 18 months later the business failed and i had already gained 80 pounds eating out all the time and not hitting the gym. I was embarrassed for my self, I lost confidence in going back to the gym I was fat, I was obese and didn't want to go in to the gym looking as I did.

At 355 pounds now I know this is ridiculous. People go to the gym to get fit to lose weight and I know it is what I need to do. I took a look at the book called the abs diet and am drinking three diet protein low carb shakes a day with a turkey sandwich at lunch and a salad and soup at night. I joined a gym and will begin tomorrow. I have so far to go it seems like such a daunting task, but I have the interest, desire, and motivation I need to loose the weight.

I can do this and i know I will. I just don't know how much weight I need to loose before I can start doing anything nor what I should be doing.

I am taking pictures tonight and will post them tomorrow.

I am on this site for support so any one who was a fatty or any one who can help. I would appreciate it. Good luck to every one and much success!!!!!!

Thats the first step. Check out the diet forum. Read the stickies, they will help. Seach for cardio threads. Look in the workout forum for workout tips. Good luck. If you are serious and willing to sacrifice, it WILL happen.

CORRECT getting started is always hard, i have a similar experience on the training side, not the working side shit 80 hours aweek man thats dedication, if you can apply any of that you will loose the fat in know time, ave also been using the abs diet power 12 handbook with the info on the diet forum and ave lost a stone since new year, ave had me bad days were ave ate shit but the trik is dont dwell pik ur sell up and get back on the wagon, 2 litle trick i use take photos of your self which is what your doing anyway put them in places were youil see them, i.e bedroom wall, in your car, at work in a locker or desk, 2nd measure your gut and weigh your self 1nce aweek mark your gut size on a wall and watch it get smaller last bit of advice use this forum everyone ave "met" has been great with sound advice. gud luk bro.

    Roman,
Sorry the business didn't work out for you.
All I can say is this...if you can put the effort in to yourself that you put in to the business...you're gonna be one buff S.O.B.!
Expect the setbacks - just don't accept them.
    Push on Brother.
Best of Luck and welcome to AR.

Roman, I feel ya bro! I know what its like to work those kind of hours man! I also know what its like to gain a lot of weight. I HAVE TO train at 5:30 in the AM. I have no other choice, work and other obligations force me to do it! Don't worry about what you did or didn't do in the past man, the here and now is what matters! Take it one workout at a time, one meal at a time, and one day at a time! Don't get discouraged if you don't get all the gains or losses you think you should have in a particular week! Just keep plugging away and before you know it, you will be there!! Best of luck man!!!

Hey...just thought i'd give say hi...good luck with it man...just don't get stuck on numbers...you do the work and you will get the results. Won't be easy...won't always be fun...but ANYTHING is better than being that big!

not knocking you...talking from experience bro...2 years ago i was 360 @ 6'1. Now I'm @ 240. It was embarressing and hard. For me...the thing that got me through it...wasn't thinkin about how i looked right then but how i was going to look. Keep that in mind and you will find yourself heading there before you know.

Welcome to AR and keep a positive outlook. Start slowly back in the gym and hit the cardio hard. There are many people on this site who are willing to help you along your way of getting back in shape. Here’s some inspiration for you. I have a client, about your age that went from 205 to 290 and now with a year of natural training, he's down to 211. I'd suggest staying natural for quite a while and then later down the road you can decide if you want to use gear again.

    Ditch the Scale!

I recommend that you keep dieting and doing what cardio you can (you're a big boy so it will be hard at first) but get out and walk/jog,etc... Also, you will be building muscle as soon as you start lifting weights which will add weight. Focus on your measurements....,not your weight. Good Luck Brother!

keep yourself well hydrated, eat a low-mod carb diet and a high protein diet

For a guy that work 80 hrs a week try to squeeze this in:
hit up the cardio...3days a week(non consecutive days) at least 40 min
hit the weights...3 days a week (non consecutive days) at least 40 min

    keep your workouts intense

and keep yourself updated on new training regiments posted by ar members

    good luck gettin thru this
