Starting to train again
Hi all!
I'm new here in that this is my first post, but I've been reading for about a month - trying to motivate myself to do something about my siutation.
I've been a powerlifter for about 15 years and have been completly natural my whole life. A couple of years ago I was at the top of my game - my lifts were strong (600+ raw squat/deadlift and 425+ raw bench - numbers were about 100lb higher with lifting suits). I've completed nationally and internationally, but I was still a no-name.
I blew my knee out a couple of years ago preparing for a meet and I had some surgery. I could have kept in reasonable shape after a ~6 week recovery, but I didn't work out at all for about 2 years. Needless to say I have gotten a flabby.
I've started working out solid again and have gotten my main lifts up to a respectable level. Squat 405x10 and bench 315x10, but I just can't seem to shed get the jiggly wobble around my mid-section. I'm going to keep squatting to the discouragement of my doctor (can't help myself - the knee feels OK).
I'm looking for some help to get leaner. I know I'm going to have to keep up the high intenisty and avoid going to dinosaur lifting if I want to shed the fat.
Thinking about using Clen, but welcome suggestions on other stacks tohelp with my goal.
Right now, I'm 5'11" and 250lbs - my goal is to get down to 220lbs without losing strength.
