Must get more serious!
Age 43 This seems to be going up every year.
Height 6 feet Has not changed in decades.
Weight 190 Ack! Was 206 in summer of 2009, so I started dieting and working out hard and brought it down to 181 in the summer of 2010. Then flu in the fall and Christmas and . . . 190 pounds today.
Bf% Wow, no idea. 20% ? Picture below.
Cycle history None, nada, nicht
Years training On and off, mostly on, since a teenager, when I took up weight training because I was barely 90 pounds!
I do not have the typical photos, but, here:
Picture was early last summer, weighed about 185. That is my workout buddy on the right. He can crank out 40 or 50 situps, and says "Look at my abs!"
Anyway, stumbling across this web site has caused me to want to get fired up about lifting again, like when I was younger. There was a time when I could bench 315 four times. In the summer of 2009, before I started losing weight, I could still bench 275 eight times, which I thought was not bad for a guy in his forties. Yesterday I put up 250 (yeah, I used the little 2.5 pounders!) for seven, so the strength went with the weight loss . . .
Oddly, the diet I used to remove 25 pounds in about a year looks a lot like the diets in the diet section here. I just found it on the internet somewhere. Still no abs, though, even though I had to have all of my pants taken in to keep from looking ridiculous at work.
I have been lurking for a little while reading, and the threads got me fired up and motivated to start taking my workouts and diet a little more seriously. Thanks!

Welcome .
You look to be healthy and in better shape then the average person your age .
250 bench for any age is good IMO . For 7 reps sounds like your gloating now .
See you on the boards

Just as a way to keep track, adding measurements here, so I can refer to them later. This site is motivating me to become a little more methodical.
Chest 42
Waist 34
thigh 22
calf 14.5
upper arm 15.5 flexed
Rest are relaxed.
The chest was a shocker since I cannot wear a 42 coat.
Anything else of which I should keep track over time?

Chest 42 - Now 44 (yay!)
Waist 34 - Now 34.5 (boo!)
thigh 22 - Now 24 (yay!)
calf 14.5 - Now 15 (eh . . .)
upper arm 15.5 flexed - Now 16.5, 17 after a workout (Yay!)
Rest are relaxed.
