Hey everyone, newbie needs advise!
Well I just turned 34, and am wanting to get my ass in gear. Since becoming a father and working my fingers to the bone I've gotten shall we say "soft" in a lot of areas. It's been about 5 years since I even stepped foot in the gym and now there's sumthin deep down that's wanting me to get up and kick sum ass to get back in " playing shape". I'm really looking forward to seeking alot of advise from all u seasoned pros since this is the fist time I'll b cycling. If anyone could direct me to the right forums it would b mucho appreciated since the shear size of this site can b a little overwhelming!
Thanks again... I'm pumped and ready to go!!!
Cheers!!Last edited by EastbayG; 04-12-2011 at 07:47 PM.

welcome aboard man but one thing youll probably hear a lot of is that you should hit the gym for a while before just jumping right in. Theres a lot of things your gonna want to get back into the swing of before going all in ya know.

Welcome!
You should really just train with good nutrition, rest and have some good workout plans, for some years, before you start with anything you dont yet need..
The best thing you could do is to start reading about BB (bodybuilding) and especially nutrition.. Reading will save you years, if not forever.... Im 18 myself.. Never touched bol, and I wont start before a couple of years... IMHO, you NEED to read about it for AT LEAST 1 year... Daily.
This is serious stuff.. ... There is a lot of reasons why you should not just go on it, one of them is that your joints and tendons aren't really ready for it.. .. Bodybuilding is something you should ease into, if you dont want a lot of regrets later...
I will be reading up on it for the next years, until I feel ready.. Be smart! Its better to pay a little now, than to pay a LOT later.....
To start you off; I currently read Anabolic 2010, and its great so far.... For basic nutrition I would read: "Will Brink's - Bodybuilding Revealed"
